Guide: Full LUK(255) Refiner + Farming Mage

IMO best pet to have is a genius (for stat balance) with a nature that avoids AOE. Sadly enuf they all do normal attacks and takes time to take aggro from u. Agile pets (preferably w\physical weapon like 2h) is the fastest attackers in pet world they take aggro fast but since they dont avoid aoe they die fast too.

 

Question farming a boss, how does it work? Don't you do low damage ? So what do you offer to your party?

 

Another question what's your shortcuts?

 

Hi I want to know your rotation on bosses like skills you use etc

 

For farming bosses im guessing you rely on your party as you keep their physical dmg stabalized with your magic

 

Just wondering because she had shield skills listed

 

And support skills listed to by the way I only have 143 skill points is that going to be a problem

 

For farming bosses, I usually don't go for too high level bosses like the newer ones. This is perfect for farming minotaur tho. For roga/empress, you probably will be doing less damage but generally you can be the support character by casting Bless/Protection etc. For TD, using the shield skills enable you to stun the boss and you can just be the breaker as most people will be busy attacking. Just avoid the AOE and blue ball.

Also, I don't think luk affects the party in general, but i read otherwise on other forums.

Also for shortcuts, I set MP Charge, Skills, Storm, Impact/Arrow (switch around depending on boss mode or combo).

 

Got the following skills magic 3 survival 2 blacksmith 3 have 40 skill points left. Thinking of getting the shield skills? What do you think?

 

maybe you can try getting battle skills lvl 1 (magic up 10sp) and shield level 2 get shield bash to level 5 (10p), the rest you is up to you

Made the luk refiner. Do I like go to the blacksmith? How do I use the character?

 

Also you might want to notify people that you can't have impact in more than 1 combo won't work. I tried to but it wouldn't let me use impact in the arrows combo because it's already used in farming combo

 

I hope this build can also farm lime potum. Only work around i have is to maxout blast for added cspd and staves+td dagger.

 

I have a question ? Now that I have the refiner skills how do I make new armor with stats?

 

Menu > Character > Skills > Ex Skills > Blacksmith Skills > Refine Equipment

You need Create Equipment skill to create armors. You need Customize Equipment skill to put your desired stats on it. Refine Equipment skill cant do either of those two.

 

Okay but she didn't have those skills listed only refinement skills

 

Because her guide/build tackles refining job only. She will get the equipment somewhere else and she will refine them. And maybe she has a separate character for creating equipment and filling them with customized stats aka a Blacksmith + Alchemist hybrid (AlcheSmith) or a pure Blacksmith.

 

Currently in the midst of creating a BS Char for all my weapon/armour needs. It's painful T_T Already had a statting character

 

Lime potum for wooden dolls? OAO never tried that before tho. But currently NC is still the trend.
Yesterday, I did some researching and found out that 120 LUK is enough if farming normal mobs for their rare drop. ;_;
