Guide: Full LUK(255) Refiner + Farming Mage

If so, this mage will be strong enuf to farm antque boxes (2s time warp watch) and other materials (more monocle materials). This also roughly mean its a 60\40 stat distrib on int and luck. Only setback is the effect on the refining part due to limited luck(if 120 is enuf to farm is it good for upgrades?)

Probably a full luk character for lower level boss Mat farms + refining.
Then restating another Mage for 120luk and 200int.
Then other dps character for high level boss.

Those drop rate is calculated with standard ticket and leveling ticket?

 

With full LUK your drop rate is 255/10 = 25.5%
With drop rate up Lvl 10 it's = 10%
With xtals (1% each) = 1%
With carp streamer hat = 10% (only with events)
Doesn't include standard and leveling ticket as there are some peoeple who don't pay money.

 

Thanks for this guide. I really like the idea of combining farming mage and luk refiner.

As of the moment I am using only +C md which is good enough for me (light, 10%dmg to dark, 10int). And for the armor I am using td dress boss version(huge mp and cast speed)

For others, just don't be confuse, you still need tec refiner to refine up to +B then luk refiner for +A-+S.

 

Sorry if its dumb question but you mention adven garb with > 5 pot. Is it typo or not?

 

I heard that LUK mage drop rate doesn't affect drop rate on boss for rare item and xtal. Is it true? And will a full party LUK mage will increase other members drop rate instead of one person?

 

Nope. With the above stats you can get the stats even with using an armour with a super low pot. IF you wanna add MATK+O% thats a different story altogether.

LUK affects boss drop rate for rare item and xtal. Basically it improves your chances of RNG hitting the boss item. I am going to mention this again here, but later on I will add it into the guide.

TL;DR
Normal mobs randomize between 3 ranges of numbers. Higher base drop rate means your RNG will mostly hit the [RARE item] number.
Boss RNG are calculated differently. You have to go through different tiers of RNG. Passing through 3-4 levels will hit the [SUPER RARE item] number. Higher base drop rate (for bosses) means you are guaranteed a drop everytime.

- If i had a pot 28 adv garb, how much more MATK+% can you add (or what would u recommend to add)?
- and how much would it cost for you to do so? with +12% to Dark, INT +12 and the maximum MATK % u can add.

If you're not a LUK mage and you want to farm NC, does it really boost the drop rate if you have a party member who is a LUK mage? Or the boosted drop rate only works for those mages with LUK?

Hey mate, I am following ur guide at the moment, I'm just wondering, if I buy gears without any slot, will it affect my performance? And there u write 216sp/186sp, what does that mean? Thanks in advance

 

It's a rough estimate of skillpoints available to you. 216 if u reach the current cap with all the emblems in tow, 186 if ur a full on solo player that don't interact. Having a slot in your gear is a lot since +3 int on all of them gives u a total of +12 int. More int, more matk, more kills and more loots to boot.

Okay, so I don't want to seem stupid or anything but I have made a full luk/mage refiner. I tried it out on my armour that was slotted and already refined to a c+ and it didn't go down but it definitely is not going up either. Is it normal for this to happen? lol. Do you recommend any tips or careful considerations when it comes to this build? And since this all based on luck, how many times do you expect to fail to try to get a B+ with just a hematite?

I think you can try to get slotted for armour/staff because it is cheap. MD depends. As for additional gear it is moderately expensive, and special gear on philosopher ring is cheap slotted. The INT +6 ring is expensive slotted.

186 sp is the max you can go fornow. 216 sp means the total sp needed if you add every skill I suggested in the guide probably when the lvl cap increases.
So you probably do not need everything

Usually a LUK refiner is for +A/+S refine so if its to +B I suggest a TEC Refiner using Ori + Anti Degra.
And even though it is LUK, i tried not using anti degra and like probably it dropped 1 out of 30-40 times compared to 1 out of 10 times with just a TEC character.
