Help me make a dps brawler.

Would like to improve my dps brawler but ive just been grasping straws.
Im stumped on the what subweapon to get, maybe twilight dagger?


If anyone can help me out with the combo sectiom too, it would be smashing

Aspd overkill.
Try not so addicted to aspd.
1.5k is enuf. 2.2k is fast but not improving brawler dps significantly.
Combine your gear w short range damage or crit or cdmg.

Well tried out your advice, feels better seeing higher numbers idk if 1k difference is huge. Im very bad at this game, but still fun to play brawler nonetheless. ^^

 

I prefer having 2k fix aspd for more motion speed but if u want more dmg u can still use don yeti..
My lvl 95brawl achieved what i want him to be.. Doing 100k fix heavy smash dmg.. Prorating with normal atks.. Doing 45k/1mp combo.. Lock tumbl/flinch/stun on a target..
I still need gears tho ;-; cri

I have all 4 passives on martial max
Lvl10 smash , Lvl 10 Sonic, Lvl 5 earthbind, lvl 5 smash, lvl 10 triple kick, lvl 10 heavy smash,
Guard skill Lvl 10 light armor
Survival skill lvl 5 safe rest, lvl 10 max hp, lvl 5 mp rest, lvl 5 max mp

Seeing how you run a dagger as sub-weapon; if you have spare points, then place some into the dagger tree, up to level 1 Spike Dagger and Poison Dagger.
Then I would do...
Smash - Shell Break (Save) - Throwing Knife (Consecutive) - Spike Dagger (Consecutive) - Triple Kick (Smite) - Poison Dagger (Consecutive)
Triple Kick is only 130% power, but you could maybe add Quick Aura (from halberd skill tree) and place it somewhere Shell Break and Triple Kick with the tag (Swift).

I would highly recommend getting Impact up to 7 (7 is when it's instant-cast), then you would have a reliable 150% power Heavy Smash by this combo.
Impact - Heavy Smash (Smite) - [Insert a fast-paced, 1 or 2 mp skill] (Consecutive).

These are just my thoughts, there's probably better combos out there.

 

Dagger passives are great

 

How about shell break?

 

The only down side of this combo is proration.. Low proration since theres too many patk skill as fillers

 

Oh yeah shell break is lvl 5

 

Make it lvl10. More proc rate

 

Ill take into consideration maybe when i reach lvl cap but i was planning on getting lvl 7 impact for sure for heavy smash

Brawler are brave jobs that risk life on front, please consider the skill that brawler have it has smash 100% chance flinch and sonic wave 100% chance tumble that no other * fu type have. Meaning this, may be your damage is low but that is not your role, your role is you can make boss to not release skill except of course the one with counter attack for flinch and tumble and from shell break you can get 500mp to continue release skill if by " chance" it does armor break

 

Im aware of the role that comes with the class, but i still want to build dps as far as a brawler can go. Just need guidance on how to expand the horizon on damage. And dishing out atleast somewhat a decent amount of damage on triple kick and heavy smash.

 

Can be used as dps for high def boss
1%/lvl as i remeber lvl10 is 10% lvl5=5%
