Help with luk mage equips

I have a lvl 72 luk mage (my first ever char) and Im trying to farm nc to level my sub (who I plan to main). The problem is I cant 1 shot roars and they usually kill me. My stats are 50 int rest luk. What equips do I use and how/where to get them?

 

Idk about what equips you would want to use, but I would recommend that you spend enough points on INT to where you can 1-shot. I don't care what people say about how great full LUK mages are, 1-shotters will always be better.

 

50 INT. If you wanna farm NC, Roar weakness is light element MD.
So, you must looked for stats that have Light Element, % stronger against dark, MATK+7%

 

On my luk refiner mage I did 60int and the rest luk. Maybe bump up your int a little also?

 

How do I add stats to equips? Do I need to learn a skill tree for that?

 

Customize equipment from the blacksmithe tree. A full TEC character is advised for this since they have a much higher success rate.

 

First, identify the target's elemental weakness. Have weapon and armor stated for this very purpose.
2 slot bunny ear hood or 2 slot carp streamer hat is a good equip(carp streamer hat have +10 drop boost but only during events) have perro and grand pojo xtal in them for added 2% droprate.
A slotted philo ring is good and shove a golden potum in that too.

For a grand total of +5% droprate boost if you have bunny ear hood
Or a total of +13% droprate boost if you have fish hat during events. These gears will help you hoard more of the good stuff you are looking for.

 

AH~ I have that problem too. XD.

• try getting brigandine armor (gives u 1.4k hp i think). u can get it from....scrader boss in magic waste site deepest.
• Get a MD if u have one (im not sure wat element ur looking in particular but the neutral is ok or u can get one of every element...XD)
• get like revita or revita-like stuff (hard apple., bnut, sashimi-i think, sashimi plate-from sq frente)

 

I believe I cant afford any of those items yet. So far, I cant afford to create my own items so I guess it would be best to buy from other players. What would you suggest to farm for a beginner?

 

wat element do u wish to have? theres MD drops from mobs that I have and that u could get too. wanna meet up?
as a beginner, if u want to make some spinas, flower nectar (kijimu in athema ruins) may be a good choice.
and if u want, i can make u some revitas...one day XD. i actually have some in stock

Ahhh~ the light md....Not many drop i think... Im stuck with my water element MD and I need to farm NC. Water aint so effective...
For light MD: owlzard (from new maps) in Monster's forest drop light MD. ---> Lv 112 ATK : 68
Astol (boss) in Aulada Tower drop light MD. ---> All lvs ATK:22
Sakura wings from NPC Zaldo ---> ATK: 33
Not that Many...

 

Valentine event going on right now so you can make the event md, go to the blacksmith and look at recipe. the items are preety easy to get(if you need help feel free to message me) and for the stats I would put a 10-20 more points in int or you will likely keep getting one shot.

Or you could look for a floral light with light element (i can add it for you if you want)
But other stats uhhhh sorta depend
