Hidden DT nerf?

    Everything was fine, but few days ago I noticed that my damage got reduced drasticaly.. from 220k x2 hits to 110k x2... I wasn't changing anything, same combo and equipment...lv135 using 348+S a7cd7cd16 grecia+gwai hb and generally "max" eq.. always playing in same team, always having max proration... what is going on? Anyone noticed dmg change? Any solutions or explainations?

    bosses have different resistance (resistance =/= defense)
    some bosses take more or less damage under certain conditions

    Were you fighting the same boss? was the proration healthy? you sure your friend didn't just spam their skills?

    Maybe someone in your pt is fcking up proration
    Usually if I have katana in team my damage is horribly reduced

    B u t something that's been going on recently

    Dt is missing and there's nothing that meets the prerequisites for missing
    Missing quite often...

    DT might miss only because of bad use, for example when some object is blocking it way. (Or evasion, but here RNG and certain bosses only) About earlier reply, I tested it on Tyrant, Mozto, Nurethoth (all hard and higher) and my damage was noticably worse.. maybe resistances are a thing. And I got unlucky because all of these bosses had high physical resistance; I can't confirm it though. If someone knows if bosses above have high physical resistance, let me know. Possible it could be p. resistances, because mage in our team (also end game eq) was dealing lit dmg, when I was struggling to deal any dmg.
    About proration, we have in team a brawler tank (when testing he was using only guardian/provoke and auto) and mage; 4th member varies, but it's not a katana or Fu-build or over-competitive 2h; my auto were at it's lowest, so proration had to be maxed out. No one is spamming hard (maybe me when finishing xD), entire team tries to keep proration on best level.

    I was farming scarder ultimate I just got tank in pt just lvling but I saw miss just once tho.about DMG if asobimo nerf it they not scared to tell us.WHY they even nerf it it's already quite decent DMG skill and going smoothly better nerf finale ._.

    If finale needs nerf, then very small.
    DT is horribly powerful, 75+c.rate, 100% pierce.. sure, it's doesn't have any constant, but take in mind that HB are having most ridiculous weapon atk from all weapons in game. HB can easily reach 4k atk, so 0 const of DT is not a big deal. Also it's "half-ranged" attack, if I can name it like that..
    Finale sooner or later, won't catch up with other classes, because of low finale dmg multiplier, even despite high const. With 100% pierce, ranged attack, 75+ crit rate and decent dmg multipliers, DT will outpower finale by light years with newer eq. It already does.

    Indeed its OP but u make it sound so easy to reach 4k atk and use.And it need perfection to farm bosses and if u use gsw it one hit dead.Don't make it sounds so easy.;)

    halberds have the lowest hit rate for melee users as it does not use a single bit of dex and most preferred halberd gear doesnt add accuracy. put a mob/boss with a decent dodge rate and halberd damage goes down the drain. grazing (almost everytime) coupled with low stability destroys that 4k + base atk. use a halberd for some time and you will see what i mean.

    finale will still have the best advantage that it cannot graze as it is magic.

    As for why it does low damage

    Indeed, reaching good equipment takes hell-a-lot of time (or luck, meh), also using DT with gsw is pretty much risky and requires some experience to use, but balancing on border of life and death when dealing soild damage with lightning speed is my way of playing and gives a lot of fun x3
    Even despite stability drop by 50%, still DT deals huge dmg with solid eq. (Heh, every class does, but with HB it's especially noticable). Every 255 str class is not bad at stability because of stability boost from str stat. I use hb for 300h and I will stay with my opinion. Assuming I have somewhere about 80% stability, I have with graze, 40% stab. But it's still 40% - 100%, so total of hits should have 70% of their power if count all hits. Yes, it's still much, but 4k atk does it's job.
    About finale. Yes, it's a huge advantage that it can't graze, but damage from finale will be getting stronger slower than classes with high-multiplier skills. Finale users even with zero int will deal decent damage thanks to finale const. But their damage won't grow up much, or surely less, than for example katana or hb users.
    Try to use DT from 12m when in front of you is something like box, rock, etc. You will miss no matter what.

    Yup halb is fun soo much xD I really like farming ultimate boss with my halb who dun use wide aoe.
    I use p.ava halb my stability is 84% and 1 STR=0.05 stability it's like 255 =12.74 maybe and maybe your armor 7% STR and +8 STR ring 2% more.
    I only miss normal atks so much BC my critic rate hell low XD still who need it spam dt and die like a MAN RIP
    STILL HALB SO MUCH FUN EVEN IF I DIED BUT ITS NOT EASY COMPARE TO OTHER BUILD.:)

    40% Stability on Graze. There's your answer. Math adds up. You just got unlucky with RNG.

    Unless you didn't graze on both hits then it's proration.

    No nerf probably as I'm not seeing anyone else complaining about this.

    Nah finale still better and will always be better ( one word Aoe) So will crossfire any skill with aoe is always better than non aoe skill in mini boss hunt.
    As u may know getting mini boss xtal isnt same as doing gem run on boss. On venena only katana and 2h are shining.

    DT is aoe and DT is op verses high defense bosses. I honestly feel aso should never have made a 100% physical pierce skill and pierce stat should have a cap of 50%

    In all fairness it takes a while to even get DT started unless you're able to manage mp and are alright with expending a good chunk of mp per combo
    Proration could be gone by the time you get to DT
    Thats just my experience tho :/
    Also DT is not aoe
    Its not simply a spam skill
    Can't throw it out so blindly cuz you at an unsafe range (puts you to 0m to boss)
    I think classes just have their roles and are good for certain things
    Ths, katana, bow and mage thrive in most boss fights
    Bow and mage especially thrive in event boss cuz of their strength
    Ths has the advantage of being able to find pt in most places
    Same for katana
    Halb excels at higher difficulty bosses and high defense boss
