Highest dps?

Sometimes, i sit around and wonder what is the highest dps character, Is it staff-fu or is it 2H or maybe a dps mage. I wonder ...
What do you players think?

 

If i had to pick one I'd say Halberd, but mage/2h/bg can still rival

 

I'm sorry if I'm rough, but I guess I'll have to repeat this over and over: there is no absolute class/build in terms of DPS. Any build can be good under the right circumstances.
Halberd is strong in quick fights, Mage and Tempest 2H works best on stationary targets, etc. Just pick a class you like between all of them and don't worry about every single case.

 

Highest dmg in one shot is staff fu. 2hs used to be the best class when the spam wasn't nerfed. for now 2hs are making a recovery with new knight skills but not enough.. halberd is also good since now people are making spammers. spammer do a lot more dmg but degrade the overall dmg output of the rest of the team

 

The highest one hit I have seen is snipe I saw precaria doing was it 435k can't remember. But staff Tu is also very very OP same goes for halbert etc they can all be the best dps at the end of the day

 

i know which snipe ur talking about but my staff fu did 510k on that same boss. the negative about staff finis that it's slow to finish the combo.. that's y halberd overall does better.. but 1hit is definitely staff fu

 

i agree with ya, but if u had the time to make 1 class u need a class that will last u decently in most situation.. in that case what would u say?

 

Staff Fu, A good Mage, or a good Sniper

Those numbers mean nothing. Need a fixed boss that doesnt have any stupid negative defence mechanism
If halberd was available at that time it could easily do 600k+ to that boss.

that is tru but u can get an overall based of comparing damages against same boss of diff class no?

 

2H, because it's fun and pretty strong when built right. Also, decent semi-tank option with good aggro tools.

 

pojo was my fav boss in a way lmfao, u feel good hitting those high

that is very tru but i say the dps has dyed a bit since the astute spam nerf... but as an overall stil a strong class

 

Welp we just have to calculate DPS as how it was meant to be "dmg per second"... hits that deal tons of dmg 1/100 is just a lucky hit imo...

 

depends on user, on how he/she can maximize the full potential of a class

 

That's why I always work on having a balanced proration. Impact also helps a bit.
