How do I earn combo points at lvl 101?

I'm a complete newbie and got boosted by friends only to find out that I'm missing out on combo points. I have tried to farm cp using the ones posted on the guides but it is ultra slow. Is there a better way for me to farm it faster or should I just give up and make a new character?

 

Gain combo points is going to be a slow process, you must have patience. What i did when farming Combo points is, I would lvl up my combo points at Big mask 1st with the use of simple combos untill i have enough to make a slightly bigger combo that would deal more damage. Then i would take that new combo and farm Metal Stinger with it to build up my combo points. I moved from Big Mask to Metal stinger cuase, Metal Stinger will last a bit longer and it isnt too OP to wipe you out in 1 hit xD. When i get enough Combo points to make my one of my main DPS combos. I would farm a boss in a party and would try to use that combo as often as i can. Overtime your Combo points will build up and in the process you might even get a xtal drop xD

Just forget about cp and enjoy the game normally. Give it some time, don't go checking cp after every kill. Eventually you'll cap your cp points. ^_^

A good way to farm cp is to use a combo that usues all of your current cp since it will give you more from using it.

 

Farm mino skins ult using 1 combo. Then it will slowly increase

 

Make sure you complete the full combo if theres any holy fist/smash at the end.
Incomplete combos dont give any combo exp.

 

Alright thanks for all the replies. Does lvl gap affect the cp gained per completed combo? E.G. lvl 101 char atks lvl 37 boss vs lvl 101 char atk lvl 100 boss.

 

Nah, only your total cp and the cp of your combo affect the cp you gain.
