How to increase CSPD faster

My CSPD is not going real good, it's only at 104 at level 38. I tried using DEX, but it only increases it 1 by 1. Is there a add gear that can increase my CSPD by a lot?

U need Mage gear slotted try selitaro xtal that gives u a few hundred extra cast speed ^^ also yur still low in level give it some time yur cspd will rise.. Hope this helped

 

Cat ear hood boss drop with seltiro. You can also use pots to increase cast speed

 

If you use Magic Device get an Empress Soul (Ancient Empress drop), it gives CSPD +500. If you use Staff then you'll have to get a Cat-Ear Hood (Caspy drop) and set a ◇Seltirio, this additional gear/xtal mix will give you CSPD +600. Also drink Shooting Star Potion (CSPD +250).

actually DEX increases CSPD by 3 each, AGI gives only 1 CSPD.
some gear has CSPD stats, usually 100/150/200 and 1 boss item has 300.
potions add 150/300 for 30min.
Chain Cast at Lv10 reduces cast time by 50%.

 

If ur a full int mage, cspd isn't gana do much, u need a lot just to lose .1 sec in casting, cspd is more for support skills imo

 

The potions are +100 and +250 CSPD (Stardust & Shooting Star potions). Also there's now the Magic Swordsman's Garb which gives CSPD +400.

 

(•_•)v im not force u, but i suggest if u want high c.spd, use Brutal dragon sword boss version,, it gives u 500 aspd n 500 cspd,,

 

I think we all assumed he was a mage. Why would a swordie want CSPD desperately if the stat only affects magic, priest & support skills?

 

(•_•)v lol yeah, but i saw he try to add dex stat, n u suggest him to use magic swordman garb, so there is a chance tht the char will be builded as a swordmage,, i just suggesting if he want high c.speed, beside sword user still can be mage, even tho have a limit,, (>_<)v

As a 2h capped now I wouldn't mind alil more cspd just started seeing it grow adding dex as my second stat, my charge time is quicker for sure n that helps since my magic recovery is based on ampr high aspd..

 

Now that you specified it its much easier to make recommendations.

The highest possible CSPD setting for a Magic Device user is this:

• Empress Soul (boss drop) ~ CSPD +500 (Add CSPD+40 xtal)
• Magic Swordsman's Garb (NPC) ~ CSPD +400 (Add CSPD+40 xtal)
• Cat-Ear Hood (mini boss drop) ~ CSPD +300 (Add Seltirio xtal)
• Adroit Mage's Bangle (NPC) ~ CSPD +100 (Add CSPD+40 xtal)
• * Use Shooting Star Potion ~ CSPD +250

Your total Cast Speed with this set will be 1970 + your base CSPD. It will sum above CSPD 2000.

When the cast speed at 1970, the time to cast storm and mp charge will be at zero? I want to make zero time mage.

 

Nope. MP Charge isn't affected by CSPD. It's time is fixed to the level of the skill and the main weapon, the lowest possible cast time is with Staff & MP Charge Lv10 = 3 seconds. Storm's Cast Time will be reduced noticeably although I can't confirm it'd be insta-casted because I haven't wore that equipment setting, I have DPS focused gear, not CSPD. If you try it let us know. : )
