What do you guys think about a post-update, full Eva (60%) flash-blast/rampage DW?

Let's say we do a full str rest agi with focussing sp on maxing out eva to 60 (light armor skils and advanced evasion, the DW passives, shadow step, flash blast, swords mastery, quick slash and war cry, rampage and perhaps swords technique, impact on 7, the battle skills (dunno about intimidating power/its effects) and survival skills.

Now, we use this combo (preparation)
    Reflex-Warcry(save)-impact(cons)-Rampage(smite)-flash blast(cons)-shadowstep(cons)

EDIT: I noticed we would have 0,5 MP bars left, which would pose a problem with save, so I need to tweak the Combo a little. Suggestions are also welcome here :)

In battle we will evade a lot, thus ruining proration for physical skills, but in turn boosting proration for auto hit attacks (are my assumptions correct?)
Before the final hit one could use impact/spinning slash or simply a combo that prorated magically in order to boost the DMG of the final hit.

Flash blast will deal DMG, auto hit will hit nicely, especially if the proration provided by flash blast gives us unsheathe - if not, we could still use manual shadowstep. Or an impact-shadowstep combo.
Ampr should also be huge, perhaps you could even add another combo with a DPS skill.

Now, as rampage buff only applies to main hand, one could argue that a full dex rest str or full dex rest agi, build may be better - I'm no expert. Let me know what you think :p

Anyways, what do you guys think about this hypotherical build?

Any suggestions and criticism are highly welcome! :)

Sounds like a grand idea for a dw build just make you do full STR and AGI, dont have too much dodge otherwise “MISS” will activate 1st over “EVASION”, and maintain arggo cuase evasion will not activate if your not the one being target, Support skills will help in maintaining arggo. support skills in a combo with “rampage(after the skill revamp comes)” would be a great combo to use. You would be able to keep rampage going as well as constantly build arggo :).

Rampage cancels all dodge lol. It makes your flee 0 :). Kinda pointless to add agi if one of its component gets completely removed. Also evasion can still occur if you are not the one boss targetting (as long as you are targetting the boss) but only on the small circle aoes.

I didn't want to continue in two threads, but what you say suggests a full str Rest dex build? Perhaps adding quick aura to make up for the lack of aspd?

Btw, is there a difference between lv 1 and lv 10 quick aura?

Furthermore, to add to Aya's point, Rampage's auto attack increase only applies to main hand damage, and the final hit only takes main hand ATK into account. If you intend to use Rampage as a buff, it's "fine", but if you want it to add some extra damage, you have to use DEX as well.

Yeah, you already told me that in my previous thread, which was pretty helpful, hence i picked up the idea again. I guess full str rest dex would be the way to go with quick aura compensating lack of aspd, but having low cspd wouldn't be too nice, i guess..

Perhaps turnung the tables and doing full dex rest str? Or would the cdmg be too low?

And i'd imagine that such a build would hit pretty hard, harder thank conventional des. You could still add a DMG Combo + your Norm DMG would be higher - vor am i missing something? :D

This build would be good if you relied on Sword Tempest or Strike Stab for damage. A tristat would be more optimal for a DW/1H mix.

Also, Quick Aura adds more ASPD on higher levels.

I was also thinking on relying on the new lv 150 skills for DPS.. So we'll have to see about that :p

Edit: AS i rely on unsheathe anyway, why not use charging slash for DMG? or the usual twin slash?

Because you said it would be Good if tempest or SS is used :p

then that will be great cuase then evasion can kick into full affect without dodge interfering, she only needs the agi to increase that ASPD so that she wouldnt be attacking with Rampage too slow but with some pace

heres a tip test out your DW evasion build with full STR then AGI and then full STR then DEX. Which ever one feels comfortable for you use it. :)

simple twin slash combo or charging slash combo should still work. like for example Twin Slash-> Spinning Slash-> Shadow step should be a good combo to use since it short & simple and deals instant dmg

he only said sword tempest or strike stab cuase those 2 skills are affected by DEX. so if you 2nd stat is dex then these skill will deal more, but they have major disadvantages. Tempest is slow especially with low ASPD and strike stab has a crit rate penalty

    Ohh D:

Well, I didn't find that information on the skill tree thread provided by argo; is there a source where I can read about those hidden stats from skills?

I'm working on that... but if Apple could hurry up with the review and let Asobimo publish the update that would be great!

Oh okay... Looking forward to it then, I guess :p Now I wonder what apple has to say about Toram. Will read it, cause "knowledge is power", right? xD

Edit: Oh I know, another mmorpg I once played had specialists for each class and they had stat points that could be distributed to 4 different values.
There was a simulator for how your specialist would turn out depending on how you invested your stat points. Does this exist for toram? I googled about it, but couldn't find anything..

Most of DW skills damage are affected by to strength of the sub-weapon(they recieve bonus dmg from it). So any skills used outside of DW skill tree will gett all of its damage from Main weapon :)

    It's me again :p
After watching a couple of DW and Brawler about high aspd builds a question came into my mind.

    1)Full str rest agi
    2)Full agi rest str

    Which one does more damage?

I know, the full str rest agi build should do more, due to higher crit damage, however, would a full agi aspd build be able to overcome the damage of 1)? Due to faster motion speed, letting me attack faster?
I mean, this build puts a main focus on norm hit damage and higher aspd increases its motion speed.

I personally think 1) should still be better due to the cdmg - or am I wrong?
