I cant be the only one that does this

Okay so, Is it just me or does anyone else struggle to actually find a class that they truly like and can actually stick with instead of switching to different classes all the time because they're undecided on what it is they actually wanna be in Toram.

Ive only tried 1 class on toram which is a mage and ive never tried anything else.
Well since a mage has alot of options on being what they want so maybe that helped alot since i can do many roles by simply sharing the same set of equips most of the time.

It's up to you honestly , try to feel whether you wanna be long ranged or melee , you can also try watching vids and be inspired by it, maybe that can help you but be warned that some vids are mostly sugar coated and only focus on the good aspect of the build.

 

I like my char to be fast like ninja, so I choose knuck and I dont need to waste rev since most physical atk wont hit me lmao, and I can lock boss down easily and face to face with boss xD. The easiest class to interrupt boss atk too

 

I've always liked long range stuff, but I've switched between bow and bowgun a few times, and I've tried several variations of builds for both weapon types ._.

Mage was going to be my next class to try actually. either that or a sword fu or a sword and shield DPS kinda class
See i've been doing that, and I started with a tank originally. got him to level 70..got bored it. tried for an archer, got him to level 80...eventually just lost interest in the build..i'm now trying a 2h build at level 80 and i'm kinda feeling it but even so not that much..preferably I'd like a good class that's able to solo ( though I know most build's can if done properly but I can't decide ahah)

 

I haven't heard much about knuck's actually. I very rarely see anyone using them but I might give them a go

 

What do you prefer? bow or bowgun?

 

Classes that uses shield as off-hand are usually the ones that can solo the best because of their incredible survivability.
You can try shield - mage , 1h - shield or bg - shield.

 

try 1h dagger it's the one I enjoy most, soloing is also very possible coz of evasion and versatility of dagger skills

 

I use a bow for burst dps sniping, but I'm testing a weird bg/shield build too

Shield mage are more welcomed to parties as compare to dps 1h-shield because 1h-shield mostly cant justify the ruining of proration over the small dmg they deal.
1h - shield tanks though are highly welcomed except they cant do anything on their own.

 

I see, so shield mage would be a better solo class and party favourite?

I've done like 10 runs with is so far ._.
it held aggro over my friend's staff fu, but he doesn't spam skills, and I did much less damage
it couldn't hold aggro over a 1h/shield tank, but it did much more damage

snipe damage is medium-low 5 digits with 110 dex, but I have around 8k hp without equips at 120 vit
idk I wouldn't say it's particularly good, but at least it's more fun than my previous poorly built tank

 

No one mention knuck shield lmao. Yeah, it is really underrated because agi which gives flee and atk speed only increases 2 atk and ppl love dps. Knuck shield is one of the build that has highest survivalbility. U can also make eva tanker too with knuck. But knuck can deal some good damage if it is built right. At least, the most op skill is named triple kick and not just kick lmao. Heavy smash and shellbreak can deal some good damage too.

 

Well, I'm sure with a little tweaking it could turn out great? it already sound's pretty nifty. What skills are you using?
