I need some advices!

Heya guys!
Lel its been 8 days since i started the game i think.And this game is like..insane man? I meant the skills and various types of each class and things they can do.Its insanely cool.And deep haha.Well..and i started to learn new things and i learned how far you can make your char strong.I was playing this game without knowing anything but just pressing the action button.So haha i like typing to much xD i want advices for building the char.Im a mage 78 lvl and im a solo player,i always play with my precious pet.Coz im so lonely ;_;
Im a mage but being lonely forces me to attack mobs in a short range i meant a tank would be great xD my int is over 100 now and vita 50 or 60 idk.
And i do everything on my own,like i dont buy pots or armors,weapons.I like farming,and i love wandering around out of doing mq's that i'd be level 120 now, if i wasnt like this xD.
Aaaand..what should i do about stats and skills? I meant from now on,which ones i should be putting points on?This s why i told my game routines.My mp healing and cast speed make things harder especially fighting with many mobs or strong bosses.

Mainly focus on INT until you cap it for now, best equips are mostly player made but since you like farming I suggest making your 2nd character a blacksmith for either INT or VIT so you can craft your own mage gears! ^^

Skill wise: Impact> Storm> Holyfist or MP Charge
Also if you didn't already know you can have mercs in you party, some do hold aggro off you until they die
You can find them in your community tab

Just some extra tips. eerrr.... More like the mistakes i made when i was a newbie

Try watching some mage build videos on youtube. they help a lot. Also, you should research stuff about blacksmithing especially techsmiths because they are generally the fastest ways to get spina.

Im assuming that right now u have that "book of oblivion" thing on your backpack. I recommend saving that for later. Use it when u are confident enough to follow or make the made build you want. I wasted mine when i was a newbie :v oops.

Anyways i hope this would be helpful and good luck i hope you have fun and dont be afraid to ask for help from forums whenever u need em.

I want to ask another thing too,
Well one of my friend adviced me to be an arrow mage but he also said being an arrow mage is "breakable" what does that mean =.=? Im using a dagger now but lol it was just a drop from a shell mask.Thats why xD i wany to know if arrow one or dagget one is better and i want try an arrow.Where can i find it? I read the differences in another topic [thanks to my noob english,i couldnt get it all =.=.] and seems like arrow helps cast speed which s im having a problem with.

the blacksmith in town can make arrows.
some arrows are exclusive to certain mobs/bosses or quests, but most come from the blacksmith.

arrows give access to a wider variety of skills (even magical traps) but lower your defence.
daggers are only for dagger skills, but they don't have any negative side effects either. even without the skills you can just equip them for their stats.
there are a few (hard to find) magic daggers which boost MaxMP or magic attack.

Arrows do not increase your cast speed unless they have CSPD+ or CSPD% stats on them.
(which you can also find on certain Daggers)

Dagger Skills are less dependent on your atk than Shot Skills, since they mostly focus on the dagger's weapon atk and your stat points in DEX, INT, AGI and/or STR.
But Arrows give a bonus to Hunter Skills. only the trap skills are usable without a bow/bowgun, but they are magic skills
If the decreased defence doesn't matter to you, you can equip an Arrow and make use of Shot and/or Hunter Skills,
otherwise a Dagger is the better choice.
or if you like to be tough, you can use a Shield for additional defence and the ability to guard attacks.
