Ice Gun Hail VS Plasma Gun

I wanna ask ur opinion which better between IGH VS Plasma Gun
Cuz the damage stability of this two weapon is
IGH(50℅)vsPlasma GUn(45℅)

 

IGH

 

I use the Emperess Bowgun though, bcoz it has light element. Equipping it with a dagger I got, I think it's name was Knife Shaft, I get +30atk. Ice Gun Hail has atk advantage but is of water element.
But as Knife Shaft has no stability to add to that of the bowguns, its your wish if you wanna equip it.
Did I stray a little off topic??

For me now better IGH element? I just put the stat on my IGH so it doesn't matter

 

im using plasma gun, i dont seem to find any difference when i use plasma gun than igh

 

Yeah maybe, but for me it's better IGH.. I like it's high stability even the difference only 5℅ between these two Gun

 

which ever one has more stab. i think ice has more not 100% sure xp.

 

IGH is damage wise, while plasma gun is budget wise

 

I'm pretty sure stability only affects minimum hit, not maximum hit, so whatever damage is calculated, that is the 100% hit, and then the game rolls a random number between the 100% hit and the stability% hit. So basically [ 1 + stability (as decimal) ] / 2 is your average hit relative to your max. So 50% stability (final number including all other gear like arrows, daggers, extra slot gear, Paralysis Shot, and possibly crystals) is [(1+0.5)/2] / [(1+0.45)/2] times more average damage than 45% stability, which is 3.45% more average damage. So using IGH instead of Plasma Gun is kind of like adding an ATK+3.5% gear if that could exist.
