If everything's 2s...?

In a perfect world and if you have 2s staff, 2s arm, 2s ring, 2s (add?), what xtals will you put if you're going for a dps build?

 

Personally
I'll put ecb and demons gate (staff fu maybe pg)
arm will be forestia and roga
ring will be ooze and maybe dark mash
for adds empress and scrader (im not sure)your question is very broad

really depends on your build,

 

DPS.

 

Staff : ECB + DG / Scrader
Armor : Jade + Scrader
Add : Ancient Empress + Scrader
Special : Ooze + Scrader / Nuretoth

I don't think having a lot of Scrader xtals is good though because of the nega physical resistance -20% . 4 Scrader xtals would mean physical resistance -80% imo this is what i think is best for DPS . To survive more you could go for Roga instead of Scrader in armor since dying would mean less DPS too anyway having enough cspd is important too . You could switch out Scrader in add gear and use Sunlight Potum instead if your cspd isn't high enough otherwise less DPS too if you can't cast skills in time .

 

You do realize, "DPS" is still a broad subject by it's own right?
There's 2-3 2h Sword "DPS" builds, Staff-Knux, Bowgun-Knux, Staff-Dagger, Staff-Arrow, Bowgun-Arrow, and Bowgun-Dagger. :V
Oh, and let's not forget 1h-Fu and Bow DPS too before i get scolded. -.-

 

I gave for mage because he posted in Mage Discussion so i assumed its for mage ? ..

oh, then that narrows it down to Staff-arrow, staff-dagger, and staff-knux. :V

well if you dont want scarder because of its neg, do

weap > dg+ecb
arm > nure, jade
add > ancient empress, nure
ring > ooze, nure

but a bit slow cast time tho
if u want a bit more survival swop nure in arm for roga
if u dont mind a bit of scrader neg, swop ooze for scrader

 

which scratches out granny... I was expecting someone to post Granny+Nure or Granny+Scrader, but that -1000cspd or -1150cspd is a serious drawback.

 

idk why do you think that "2s everything" is "perfect world".
Coz if you only think about dps theres no green (armor) xta that gives dps.
And the blue xtas (for all equipment) will always give some sort of bad nega which will ruin your build on stuff other than dps.
e.g. 4 scrader xta = -80% physical resistance you almost doubled the dmg done on you by physical atks even if you gained 1200hp thats too much reduction in survivability for having more dps.
If you want a good dps build only 2s weapon +15 from base +S refine (ele stats) (ecb+dg) is enough to consider it perfect, no need to get rest everything 2s.

And yeah the thing i said about ele stats is true, at the current cap for mages:-
Ele 11%toele matk5% +C vs. i117m7 +S (ecb+dg)
Ele stats would win coz even if your matk reduced by 300pts the 36%+ dmg to ele will over all do more dmg.
Thats why i like this game as its not about doing p2w and getting 2s everything if you know how the system works you can still be better than the richest person in game.

You wanna pay 5m spina for 2slots to get extra 12-13matk? ._.
Dont get me wrong 2s armors are the cheapest 2s available out there but roga+jade is the only good option if you are gonna invest on it.

 

I think for the sake of survivability, I'm willing to give up that 1%matk. Was rooting for Jade+Roga too.
