5 STR = Base C.D. +1 (flat), which is technically a 1% added as a whole to the character's original %.
It isn't treaded as a C.D. 1% from gear.
It is treated as a C.D. +1 from gear.

 

thanks i and now i get it why the newest knuckles have +6%strenght on it. im really wandering why asobimo put some stats though its kinda dont give anything on character stats.

 

So, for my magic gunblade build, I should go with str, int, crit? rather than all dex?

 

What's the main weapon of gunblade?

DEX is fine but should've been your secondary stat though. First full STR, then DEX, then CRT only if needed, but Astute as opener should be enough so you don't put stat points on CRT, no INT. A physical damage build won't benefit much with INT.

 

Well, it's combination of matk and patk...(well, dex may cover magic damage tho)

 

Ah I get it now, DEX raises CSPD so yes, your stat distribution is correct for a MATK/ATK hybrid build. STR would give you the critical damage boost, but with DEX you still have exactly the same Base ATK and can cast magic skills faster. You're fine as it is. Build it DEX>INT>STR, no CRT.

 

ooh okiee thx!! so....if I want more dps, it should be 2:1 dex>str ??? Or 2:1:1 dex>int>str ?

 

First get DEX to 200, then alternate 1 on DEX and 1 on INT then the next level 1 on DEX and 1 on STR until you cap DEX. Then continue with an INT 2:1 STR ratio.

how much critical damage increase damage than normal damage ??

 

What's the deal with the atk and speed bars, in the stats menu in regards to their capacity changing as either:

Atk increases to full bar, aspd bar capacity increases.

Or

Aspd bar fills to capacity, atk bar capacity increases.

I did some minor tests, to see if my damage maxima was limited. Though, may have had some confirmation bias.

My 1h storm tempest at Atk 1608 (max bar capacity) @ aspd 1008 couldn't pass 31k crit, until I used giga speed... Then my crit started to reach a higher maximum of 34k~ish (34857)...though I'm unsure if whether it was just a chance event... As the frequency to hit that high with leve blade (70% stab) makes me skeptical.

The damage value mentioned above is the sword tempests initial hit, not the total damage dealt.

aspd shouldn't affect critical damage, it could have been stability or poration (or a weaker monster - some maps spawn the same mob at different levels)
but % stats like STR% increase the bar capacity
i guess that has some effect...
