INT impact brawler; need help. Skills; equips; combos

    Sooo im building a blaster brawler, not sure on some stuff lol. I read @NineArts build- but I noticed he has not updated or is on hiatus for now.
    I wana follow his same concept but I'm unsure of the combos at the moment.
    I want my combos to be fast to spam and increase survivability.
    So I was thinking something like this:
    SMASH-TRIPLE KICK OR SHELL BREAK*(SAVE)- SONIC(CONSEC)-IMPACT(SMITE)-MAGIC WALL or BLESS or some other 2mp skill(SWIFT).
    * im not sure whether to get triple kick or shell break, I need a skill with the fastest animation speed .which one is faster? Or should I get both??

    And also what equips are needed, what's the best knuckles for a INT brawler right now?
    Do magic device stats affect yu as a sub weapon?
    So many questions so lil timeXD. Thanks in advance !!!

    if u go full INT, then martial skills won't have much firepower since they scale from physical atk stat. unless, u use magic device as main weapon, since INT gives both patk n matk for magic device.
    I personally have tried building INT brawler. while MATK growth with knuckle is great, INT brawler lost all damage multiplier from both magic n martial trees (magic skills have multiplier for staff & MD also martial for knuckle, but since u go INT means no patk stat so... yeah)
    MD brawler is a great breaker tho lol

    Awww T.T . no wonder Ninearts hasn't updated the thread lol. So this build is more or less a lost cause DPS wise?
    Altough I read equipping MD as sub gives IMPACT 250%+ damage with SMITE an drop off. Someone commented in nines thread.

    ya that's why I dropped mine too...
    about impact amplify dmg even with MD as sub, I believe it's not the case lol
    if that is, all mage will wield staff as main n MD as sub ahaha

    I'm also searching for ways for this build to work but with the skills presently I don't think it is a good build for dps. Maybe, at level 120 cap this build may shine when the final skills are present. As of now the only combo I think that might out dps other class is using holy fist> impact (smite)> triple kick (cons). Just spam with this combo like in the way of kick thread. But mana cost wise it isn't a good one. You can also try holy fist>smash (4th skill, use with save)> impact(smite)> triple kick, one bar mana combo, but definitely slower than staff fu and sword fu.

    at 130% damage output of impact, i deal 5k-7k dmage at colon commander..with a lvl 28 toon.. yeah not a dps one but seems fair in a long run...

    I take back the comboes I came up with. The damage of triple kick in 1st combo gets so down the road next to impact smite. While the 2nd combo is too slow.

    It should be holy fist> impact (smite)> smash (cons)> triple kick (cons)

    I placed smash next to impact to let it suffer the debuff after using smite and let triple kick do a better dmg. (100%> 150%> 50%> 70%)

    For 1 mp combo :

    Combo 1: smash> holyfist> impact> triple kick; all cons.

    Combo 2: holy fist>shell break (save)> impact (smite)> smash.

    What level are you when you tested? I tested the combo at lv 64 and dmg I got is 10k while at s. Roar is 12-16k.

    I tested it too at decel but dmg is only 5-6k. It is spammable tho.

    I tested mine with a lvl 28 char... will try it later if i reach lvl 40 today..

    all my brawler skills are lvl 1 or pre-requisite for the next skill so i dont have any good damage with a martial skill at all...

    creditz all goes to ninearts for this concept...

    ps: im a newbie after all...

    @lvl 41, with 581 matk.. against colon commander deals 7k-9k damage..
    @lvl 41, with 591 matk (magic up).. against colon com.. deals 9k-10k damage...
    against s.roar deals 7k-8k damage...
    against decel deals 3k-4k damage..

    no decent equips..

    this build is very limited DPS cos it gets no atk from INT an as yu can see has @DansAway it gets no skill multiplier from magic tree. so trying to get DPS from tkicks is futile.
    try using mdevice yu get atk an Matk from INT stat. then build a proration build. that is wat I am currently doing.

    it seem like a good concept Bt I can see why Ninearts gave it up. if there is any hope for this build its in much higher level cap future or answer lies with mdevice as Ur weapon

    yes it is.. i think mr ninearts didnt gave up here... like he is sitting back there waiting for game updates...

    i think it will be complicated for me if i switch my main weap now.. like he said if cap will increase an addition to dex as knucks main will increase our matk :)... higher matk, higher damage.

    I've been out of Toram for months now, still busy irl.

    Anyways, Impact Int Brawl is bad (at current cap), because spellburst (crit of magic) has unclear mechanics.
    (i was not able to follow up with @Mugami about the mechanics test we were discussing in private chat so i did not knew other secrets he discovered)

    I tried three approaches: Md, staff, knucks. The DPS is still bad (even if you setup everything using drop off mechanics and vs element, other problems with Lv.3 magic skills ~> they are all terrain/position dependent) - unless Lv.4 skills will have higher magic damage and better attribute (not position/terrain dependent).

    For me, the only best skill you can have as magic brawl right now is Magic:Wall, use a Save combo with drop off (physical skills then one magic), Magic:Wall needs to have Smite & your weapon needs to have the strong element vs target.

    Setup: Target needs to have a wall behind them (or any object that will serve as a "stopper", can be a stone, or at the edge of the map, be sure it will not fall off, etc.), do your combo and once you cast Magic:Wall, they will continue to be pushed back every hit, i call this "push-back lock" (if a target has a default behavior when their HP comes to a certain %, they will come out of this). A Smited Magic:Wall has equal damage per hit to a normal Magic:Storm. Lastly, be sure you are doing this in a flat terrain, or else Magic:Wall may not hit at certain parts and use Md to have more hits and wider AOE. Best combined with Magic:Storm so that the target will remain in one place (Magic:Lance is slow and not all targets can have Stop inflicted on them).

    With regards to update, i'm waiting till 150 cap to go back ingame and reopen/update my previous threads: [link] & [link] about xbow+knucks snipe+triple kick Dex ~> Str build. The unknown Lv.4 skills will decide if snipe+triple kick will still be the main DPS. I hope they haven't changed the mechanic of xbows (str increases xbow crit dmg). Lv.150 is the best time to test my theory and analysis on xbow+knucks (maybe this december?). And of course, it's faster to level up your character at that point because there will be easier ways to gain exp.

    Lol. I forgot nine. Been busy too.

    I use a breaker mage. Its my favorite build. MDs are the way to go. My current atk is 718, MAtk is 946 @ lvl79. If I choose to do dps; my combo does only 90k. Frankly, the build is for tanking and stunlocking bosses. It can solo all bosses except mezza. I prefer using an infinite combo tho. I never have to worry about not dpammin a combo when my combo regens more than I use. To me, Dps is not as important stopping a boss in its tracks for most of the battle and keeping everyone else alive in the process, including those 2k dps.

    If you want dps:
    Impact 7
    Smash up 10
    Crit up 10
    20 points in crit
    Concentrate 10
    Storm 10
    Shellbreak 10
    Holy fist 10
    Magic mastery 10
    Atk up 10
