There we go again another halberd vs my favourite class thread. 2h are strong but they cant win against halberd (similiar equips) for single target boss battles and theres reasons for that. Bow can not be compared here as they have a massive advantage that neither of them have.
Even if they can not win I dont care do you know why?

I have both chars and 1 thing I can say 2h have tempest so halberd will never win against them if its a multiple boss battle like potum raid. Seriously just because theres not many such bosses doesnt mean a class goes useless.
Also why compare with halberd anyway? Theres so much stuff a 2h can do aside from dpsing on a single target boss. I prefer 2h more than halberd while farming a mini boss crowded with ton of side mobs any day they are also better tankers than halberd if you give them survival. This game does not revolve around single boss farming only. My 2h can also farm high lvl mobs on new maps which my luck mage cant.

Also this is all temporary as I have a feeling lvl4 blade skills (at least I hope) they will outdamage both shot skills and halberd skills so its only a matter of time till lvl150 that halberd will be dethroned.

All classes should be respected for their uniqueness 1 class doesnt become better than other because it does more damage.

Well. We can quit asking class vs class tbh. Cuz we all know, strike stab is one of the most dps skill on toram. But to answer ur question, "can 2h beat halberd" well, yeah sure why not? Put a lv1 halberd in front of a lv135 2h BOOM 2h wins. Put a adv garb halberd in front of a full geared up full 2s 2h BOOM 2h wins. Halberd can be a great dps, but doesn't mean it's the best. Cuz we all have a diff standard for best. Like a op halberd that dies a lot, a glass cannon, are u gonna consider it the best?

So there's no point to compare. They all have their strengths and weaknesses

In terms of DPS, it's hard... But rank hogging? Maybe cos 2H is more well balanced than Halberd imo
