Just a question. Can 2hd beat halberd? I still think we 2hd users can. -_-

It really does depend on the situation and boss. There are times when lesser levels have beaten my brawler at attacker rank and there are times when I have beaten higher levels at attacker rank. I was actually considering making a Spartan/Leonidas tank build as a secondary for fun but unfortunately shield is unavailable as a subweapon for Halberd.

 

2h can beat halberd lol, it depends on the boss especially. some places halberd will beat 2h, some 2h will beat halberd in terms of dps. For instance my classic warmonger. i've 1v1 many halberd bow 1h users there but still haven't found someone to beat it there. but i've seen people doing some other bosses where i feel halberd will out dps 2hs.. Alao 2h has more variations of what u can do with it

 

lol knuck as main weapon actually isnt bad recently . STR(3atk) build like staff fu and 2H will prolly have stagnant growth till 150 while Halberd has advantage bec of their skill damage multiplier.
this is like 2 years ago when snipe comes out.. all ppl build a sniper

Staff FU yes. Since they've already capped out their stability gain and need to build CRT now.

2H's though? They still have a pretty nice upward growth since DEX gives really nice stability gains.

 

you cannot talk about dps without mentioning bare hand obviously the true best dps. that 1k atk speed will wrekt all the wannebes

 

Depends really, proation,your timing when your in the fight.gears and refine level, experienced gamer or not.Ive beaten Halbard and bows, bowgun with my 2h. Lost some too they are all good classes, you can't forget 2h's massive dps tho, there are negatives too all builds classes etc.

 

And this is why pvp will destroy the diversity of toram. It will be just one weapon room. Its already bad enuf that any and every account must have a luck mage just for decent game progression.

 

thanks ari. Im on a verge of fighting a halberd soon at warmonger. Last time i was on a race to five atk rank and i only won once. Haha. I was using my old 2hd skill combo on that time. I changed my build after reading your guide. Waiting to test it on a halberd soon. ) and oh btw, it was a battle using neutral weapons.
If i may ask. Can we have a little sparring session with your 2hd?

my 2h has no xtals on it atm lol.. and btw my neutral does more dmg than the elm for specific reasons id rather not state xp. But if u want i can show u some dmg without xtals. idk if its gonna be as good tho lol

As I've read this thread went long, I still believe that Halberd>2h with the best of their gears and game experience. Can someone challenge @Ratburat 's halberd to disprove me?

halberd will out dps 2h is many bosses, there's some 2h will out dps halberd. i would demo it vs rat but i've sold most my good gears as i'm leaving toram start of september.

 

for atk,tank and breaker rank? I want to see it too since I dont have both builds.

A same refined ele 2h with xta will always do more damage than a neutral one.

I guess the thread title asking "Can 2h beat halberd?" so to answer that question everyone is replying yes they did at a certain boss but overall on all bosses in general I agree too coz of the damage multiplier comparision and that 2mp cost difference in their main dps skills.
