Just need some combo guidance

    Hey this my first char since alpha so I'm still rough around the edges but I'm lvl 112 duel wield been playing bout a week and half now stats are 100 str 120 dex agi 62 atm gear is anniversy 2 v@154 refine s 2s imitator and bkod att7% cr13% cr 13 cd damage 13 adv garb d7 cd 5% cd13 cr13% cr13 iconos ifrid Grecia helm proto Leon and dex talisman 3 shining gentleman skills are hard hit 5 astute 10 trigger 5 sword mastery 10 guard tree light armor 10 battle skill tree crit up 10 the pre reqs 5 survival the hp increase 10 dw tree all Passive 10 twin slash 5 spin slash 10 phantom 10 shadow step 10 pre reqs to.it 5 ik this isn't the best stat and skill distribution but I try not to rob you guys builds more of learn and build off them but atm I only have 1 combo spin slash phantom smite shadow cons and trigger (with the effect that use hp instead of mp) it does fairly well but against some bosses who have fast aoes I shadow step right into them easily and die alot so I'm hoping you guys can help me start off some combos to deal with those type of bosses any helpful info is appreciated I take constructive criticism as well

    Learn how the boss attk and work around it, know your skills and keep combo short and short cast time. Dw has animation yes very cool looking but youre a sitting duck. Im not sure if they updated that yet though. But once in a combo its hard to avoid a aoe because you cant move while casting unless youre out of range(5meters from a boss using 2meter knuckle skill)/out of mp. So it doesnt matter what combo/class you use, if you use it right when boss is using aoe/aiming attk on you, youll die(depening on which boss). To avoid like i said at first learn the boss attks and work around it, know your skills. Just because you make a new combo doesnt mean the boss will sit there and let you use it. Just tips.

    This... is an extremely run-on sentence, dood.

    Also, this combo is really expensive (5 - 7 mp). If your build is ampr based, that can be over looked I suppose, but honestly, I feel that Tenacity (the hp spending skill perk) is the worst perk of them all. Change it to consecutive will make the combo a guaranteed 5 mp.

    Also, shadow step should go before Phantom Slash, instead of after, for the Critical Rate boost. Trigger Slash never misses anyhow.

    Impact would reduce the mp strain of this burst combo, but you lack it. It also seems that you lack any other 4 mp skill for the Save perk, so a 5 mp burst seems like the best we can do.

    If Shadow Step causes you death on certain bosses, keep a distance and remove shadow step from the combo, so that you can control your movements. Since you have a high critical rate, maybe shadow step isn't even necessary to hit, given you have Astute as well.
    Combo: Mp cost is 5 exactly
    Astute > Spinning Slash (Cons) > Shadow Step (Cons) > Phantom Slash (Smite) > Trigger Slash (Cons)​

    I'm just tryna find skills bro not learning patterns that comes with time ik that much from mmo experience I'm just tryna find combos to use other than that one to help avoid it I been reading forums and alot of post about how the same combo won't work with different bosses

    Ty I'll give it a shot I have a book of oblivion just in case my skills were too messed up like I said I'm still new and learning I didn't even know shadow gave crit buff till 20 mins ago and I thought impact has long cast time?

    You have an oblivion book? This makes everything a tad easier.
    Impact at skill level 7 has no cast time, and halves cost of next skill.
    Critical Rate is superior to Hit Rate, so Shadow Step and Astute both work in tandem
    Trigger Slash increases ampr, to quickly recover back the mp you spent.
    Secondly, drop any skills that you don't actually seem to use, like Twin Slash.

    Try this one, then: 3 mp
    Astute > Spinning Slash (Cons) > Shadow Step (Cons) > Impact (Cons) > Phantom Slash (Smite) > Trigger Slash (Cons)
    EDIT: For 1 mp, you need the Save perk.
    Astute > War Cry [any skill with high cost, really] (Save) > Shadow Step (Cons) > Impact (Cons) > Phantom Slash (Smite) > Spinning Slash (Swift)​

    3mp a big difference from what I'm currently using I'll write it done ty and yes I was tryna be between ampr build and somewhat damage also could you explain to me what prorate is

    Prorate is the balance of physical skills, magic skills, and auto attacks.

    In short, spamming only 1 category will make the entire party weaker, but inversely, using at least 2 categories (alternating) will make the party do more damage.

    i.e. Hit the boss once with auto attack for every skill you use that hits the boss (between combos, of course)

    dw dont have fix combos tbh.. dw should adapt their combo depending on the enemy :)
