Knuckle users useful combo

    My first thread. i want to share how a brawler is able to increase pt survivability rate during recent boss(roga and empress) run.
    This is not a new combo found by me. I just want to list all useful combos used by knuckle user, based on its purposes and how to properly use it.

    1st stunlock combo (w high motion speed)
    Attacker ○●●●●
    Breaker ○○○●●
    Tank ○○○○●
    Support ●●●●●
    Smash > Shell break(save) > Sonic wave(swift) > bash(swift)
    cost : 1 mp bar
    how to use it :
    a. Always use this combo as the 1st hit in boss run before any other DPS class took action. You will gain boss aggro and control the match.
    b. Never spam it (status effect has cool down and we re not a 'breaker' rank whore fgs)
    c. Have timer set in your mind. bash only stands for 4-5 (sec), tumble lasts for 2-3 sec, flinch 1-2 sec. CMIIW.
    d. if stun succeded, use auto attack 4 times before you execute this combo(assuming your ASPD is 1100)
    e. if tumble succeded. Do 2-3 attacks before next combo.
    f. if flinch only. 1-2 attacks needed or immediately execute this combo if boss is casting its AOE skill.
    g. if nothing happened. execute this combo again ;)
    NB : this combo works against arco, roga, GK, and empress. this will make those bosses locked down in a same place(not always but often) and let storm mage do their job with their bitter nut combo.
    *even though all skills mentioned here is no limit, its suggested to equip knuckle (or staff for tumble) to make flinch, tumble, rate higher.
    *i do not suggest to use it against arco tho.
    *for GK and Caspy, try to stand behind a wall so you wouldnt get knocked back
    *for Roga, brief your mage friend to immediately cast storm to freed you from roga's children. or try to break from left or right sides.

    2nd combo rank chaser
    Attacker ○○●●●
    Breaker ○○○○●
    Tank ○○○●●
    Support ●●●●●
    Holy Fist > Impact (save) > Tkick (swift)
    cost : 1mp bar
    Short combo with fastest animation for knuckle user to get breaker.
    Spam it while you still have MP. Quickdraw user will have advantages w this combo. But dont blame this combo user if the battle prolonged ;)
    *Good at rank chaser tourney like TFL.
    *Unbeatable if combined w provoke Lv10
    *Without provoke, its still possible to snag tank rank from provoke spammer. only in long battle run.

    is sanctuary fast cast and 400mp?

    Sonic Wave ~> Sanctuary (save) ~> Shell Break (cons) ~> Smash (swift) ~> Bash (swift) ~> Heavy Smash (cons)

    tumble animation of Sonic Wave: 2secs, will it be the same on Sanctuary casting duration?

    does it make diff if sanctuary after trigger slash? or arrow w chain cast effect?
    my friend told me its a 1s fixed casting time at lv 10

    i haven't tested it, but Trigger Slash only adds Animation Speed of +40% same with Swift combo tag (too bad their effects cannot be combined which is very useful for a 3second Rampage)

    with regards to chain cast, hmm not sure. i think max level of it is -50% casting time

    i just tested it myself. sanctuary doesnt have casting time. it does have motion cast speed.
    So chain cast doesnt have any effect.
    Trigger slash influence sanctuary motion cast speed. however, i still dont see sanctuary fit for damaging combo tho. :(

    thanks bro!!. i will post my 2nd combo after TOITs done. its still a secret move from my guild to steal all rank for a certain tier.

    my suggested combo for full STR, staff+knucks build (with Lv.10 Quick Draw, Lv.10 HP Boost, and max VIT after Lv.95 when you finished maxing STR)

    Sonic Wave Lv.10 ~> Sanctuary Lv.10 (save) ~> Bash Lv.10 (swift) ~> Impact Lv.7 (cons) ~> Triple Kick Lv.10 (smite) ~> Heavy Smash Lv.5 (cons)

    too bad i'm going on 2h+brawl build path, would like to see it's performance. :oops:

    as an addition: Sonic Wave tumble effect animation (2 sec.) will cover for Sanctuary casting animation.

    i think hardhit is enough. i use hardhit to compensate sanctuary casting motion. but in short run battle, it will be troublesome to spam this kind of combo.

    A bit out of topic, but still related.

    Holy fist receive 50% damage bonus from attack if knuckle is equipped even as a sub weapon. Tried using bowgun and 1h sword main. Didn't work on staff though. When knuckle is equipped, the damage is 10% higher than same-level hardhit.

    yup while using knuckle as sub weapon and staff as main weapon, staff as main weapon will overlap holyfist hidden effect which it will get bonus 50% from matk not atk.

    what are your thoughts regarding this guys?

    Sonic Wave Lv.8 ~> Smoke Dust Lv.1 (Save) ~> Triple Kick Lv.10 (Smite) ~> Impact Lv.7 (Cons) ~> Snipe Lv.10 (Smite) ~> Bless Lv.1 (cons)

    thinking of remaking my xbow+knucks, however, it will not take advantage of the higher CDMG output if compared to STR based builds

    the only way to get DPS Burst Damage is to add in Crit and Lv.10 Smash (from Battle tree)

    but, increasing Crit Stat lowers the Snipe Critical Probability on Xbows.

    proper build in the future after Lv.95 would be going Full STR after maxing out DEX.

    might want to replace sonic wave with moeba shot? What I learned from sword fu, is that opener moves really matters since its on 100% power.

    Looks good, 90% triple kick and 130% snipe. The combo might works! But it will have a long animation. You have to be careful!

    hmm, would really like to have that window where the target tumbles down, the build has no Lethargy Effect, so survivability will be a problem, also, this combo will get alot of aggro because it only costs 1 MP Bar, but it's actual value is 14 MP Bars

    In my opinion, if I'm using this kind of combo. I will start from long range (8 m - ish), once reached 3m, triple kick will activate -> tumble from impact -> snipe.
    But that just me, if you want to tank while standing still, sonic wave will be a good choice.

    replace swave w moeba, bless w heavy smash (smite)(depend on your mp pool) just to reduce unnecesary motion speed

    no enough SP for h.smash, and bless at the end takes care of the Support Rank
