Knuckles as Secondary

What are the pros and cons of using knuckles partnered with a sword?

More dmg with knuckle skills and higher status effect change...with knux skills.

That goes with Light Armor right?

 

Armor type is choice dependent.
Most do go with light for that little extra Aspd.

 

atk, stability, other stats and crysta slots do not apply, only the appearance matters.
your matk is reduced by 15% and you get the Knuckle Weapon Bonus for all "no limit" skills that have a Knuckle Weapon Bonus.
this applies to all attack skills from Martial Skills (but not the passives) and the Priest Skills Holy Fist and Holy Light.
but since matk is slightly lowered, the bonus to priest skills is quite minor
(tap damage for breaking boss parts is also lower, since it uses atk and matk)
