Loving Chakra right now

I have recently redid a character and added Chakra.
Threw a Chocolate ooze 2 on one of my items and it's been amazing.
takes a little over 1 second to cast chakra and keeps my combos at 0mp. Sometimes I even add 100mp due to quick draw!

Haha the non-existent aggro is making for some pretty easy (and rev-free) levelling. Still doing 150k crits on chariot, despite the really low power staff.

 

Is the resistance buff on it any good for survivability?

 

Yeah, at level 10 I would say there’s a pretty significant reduction in damage for the entire party. Really good when paired with nightcap/Choco ooze 2 because of the low casting time. The damage reduction at lower levels isn’t bad either. I have it at level 5 so far on my main, and it’s a nice addition.

A little harder to keep up if you’re full agi and actively tanking, but it’s easy enough to fit in between tumble and stun ailments. I mainly use it for the AMPR boost, but extra survivability never hurts. Also your party members will love you for the +100mp insta heal.

 

So, technically you heal party's mp as much as you spam combo!? First time a spammer be loved like this!

 

It should be easier to keep with full agi though because of dodge.

50 MP if the caster doesn't have Knuckles equipped. 100 MP if he does.

 

Oh yeah, it definitely is. And for bosses that attack with mainly AoEs, keeping Chakra up is no issue. You still get hit though, and it’s a little annoying finding the ~2ish seconds trying to self-cast when the boss is constantly up in your face.

This becomes a total non-issue if you have somebody else tanking though. ^^ Or two knuckle users who can switch off casting.

Yes. It solely depends on the caster.
