Luck/Luk and Parties

But it seems kind of outdated. Obviously luck helps the character themselves get better mob and even boss drops. However, what I constantly do not understand: does it affect parties? I've heard some blamed for bad drops. Every time I join a party that is already going with my 143 Luck mage they assume I have a high luck after the first round of processing. So does luck affect parties at all? And does the survival skill "drop rate" affect parties at all?

 

Luck is a personal stat and it only affects yourself. The same could be said with droprate skill from survival skills.
And as to the person who blamed you , then sadly he mustve been not informed , but his reasoning isnt unfound though , if a mage invested too much on luk points and got a low number of int , that particular mage might not be able to 1hit the mobs with a single tick of storm due to low matk , because of this , this would hinder and lower the total number of loots your party would farm by up to 1/8th.

 

Yeah, I understand that. No one has personally blamed me; I've only heard other have been blamed. I actually make sure to have as much int as I need to, which is why my luk is only 143 a lvl 78. So the increased drop rate is just in their head?

This should be at the top to all people could see and be educated, so people would stop arguing in NC area that luck mages are superior @_@.

More people need to spread the knowledge around as well. Make it a community effort. Several of the players that advertise LUK helping party members drop rate don't use the forums. Those that listen don't either. Nor do they think about the mechanics of the game. So reason, debate, and spread the information. Especially in places like Nisel Mountain and NC.

 

Agree with this, i educate by shouting in nc area about this issue, others stop shouting for" lfm luk 200+ only" then others just wont listen
