Luk mage restating

I'm a full luk mage and I'm farming corroded knights who drop deformed blade. Sells for a lot. Thing is these mobs hit hard. I usually die lol. So I'm thinking of restating to like 200 luk 100 int and rest in vit. I'm getting custom armor and staff. With the 11 vit for survivability. I already got night mushroom mask with a grille xtal in it and I made the shell buckler shield. I did this because I bought revitas 4 and I'm chugging them to survive. Suggestion are welcome. I plan on trading my armor Scrader xtal for a boss roga one. Don't know what I should get in my staff I have ecb in my magic device.

 

Remove scrader c.c
Refine your shield, add and armor to at least +C
Use protection if you got spare sp

My luck mage only got 3k hp still it never dies at corroded fighters/knights (at least the ones near cerberus)

Refine shield? What metal do I need? Can the mushroom mask be refined?

 

Of course all add/armors/shield gears can be refined .-. You need ore for them

Dont use scrader on a farm char its -20% physical resistance will kill you.

 

I plan on selling ecb and Scrader. Ecb went down to 800k+ I bought it for around 1.4m oh well.

 

So what xtal should I put in my staff

 

What does refining do? I'm thinking of putting zega xtal in my staff

Refining add/shield/armor gives resistance which will reduce the damage you take from the mobs same as protection which too reduces damage taken its duration is 10min at lvl10 so perfect for farming.
For xta obviously ecb or imiticia, you dont need extra hp now you need to focus on higher damage.

 

Protection is a shield skill right?
