    Have backup breaking skills after P.Def to cancel boss attacks in the event your timing's off.
    Eg. P. Def > Assault Attack/Hard Hit/ Impact > skill #3 >...

    +shield chars are supposed to be semi tanks either way but now they are really op.
    The skill update caters towards mages overall so yeah its nice to have new skills for them in between all the sword revamps.

    Yah thats true but its better than running in nude.
    Btw, can p. Def be casted mid combo? It will be pretty good for tank\ support who usually get hit mid combo.

    Yes, but it'll be very challenging (almost impossible even?) to get exact timing.

    It can be used as a combo opener which is the best thing about it heal your self and deal damage without hurting the proration much all the while surviving a strong attack.
    Mid combo it can still be used as a filler if at lvl1 for making self prorating combos.

    Deal damage? Does it have an auto counter-attack function as well? Or are you using Guard Strike in partner with P.Def?

    No i mean as a combo opener for any regular dps combo.
    E.g. P.def + war cry(save) + impact(cons) + tempest(smite) + smash(swift) for 1h shield.
    As its an opener you can time it right before a strong attack, heal yourself and also no physical skill before your main dps so proration friendly.

    P.Defence is op and all, but the animation is gay af, i dunno if its just my toon that looks gay whilst doing it, but it is such an awesome skill that it takes away some skill of tanking, but u just needa know the bosses and what attacks to nullify

    Please confirm if Bless with Enhanced Bless passive runs @ 3 seconds between ticks for 45 seconds.
    So total of 16 ticks x [HP value calculated with new formula]?

    0 second = cast of Bless + 1st tick
    Time in seconds:
    (0, 3, 6, 9, 12, ...., 39, 42, 45) --> 16 values

    I've made a few tests with my mage regarding Enhanced Bless. Here are my results.

    Lvl 104 Staff Mage
    Full INT, 40 DEX,
    1.95k MATK
    Lvl 10 Bless heals with Enhanced Bless at lvl:
    - 0 : 153
    - 1 : 229
    - 2 : 251
    - 3 : 253
    - 4 : 255
    - 5 : 257
    - 6 : 278
    - 7 : 280
    - 8 : 282
    - 9 : 284
    - 10 : 306
    From what I can observe, the end result is exactly what we would expect: doubled Bless. But notice that the growth of the values aren't linear. Most noticable ones are at lvl 1, 2, 6 and 10. Lvl 1 is probably mostly due to the enhanced effect from having a Staff, whereas all the others have increased by around 20 HP extra.
