Pfffttt. -% aggro are for pussies

Use Super Costero for massive damage and a whopping 38 mp aggro minimum. XD

 

With the new skill + super custero, i doubt there would be aggro since youll be one shotting them

You generate aggro while casting with that skill. Don't know if that's additional aggro or the full 16 mp aggro.

 

Every class has their own purpose. Mage already has a lot of pros
- stable AOE damage with storm
- no graze and no evaded hits
- high tap damage for breaking (most bosses take more damage when broken. Halberd, bow, katana suck at breaking)
- diversity as you don't need a lot of skill points for a mage build so you can get other skills.

And surely there's a lot more. There are cons too but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. If you think mage is useless then just don't make/use a mage.

Mage is the weakest class? In terms of what? Damage? Is damage the only scale to measure if a class is weak or not? Stop focusing on what you can't do (mages can still do damage though...) as mages have other qualities that would definitely be useful in a party.

i think he differ weakest as dps who cant rank out other class. if mages successfully prorates, bows, halberd,fus are much more happy in the party. well without an event i never seen a storm who do 100-150 per hit if you know someone send me a link pls?

its indeed weak tbh. if we go back in 2015 to mid 2016 mages are quite strong.

 

once again, is damage the only basis for a character being weak? Mage is not even the weakest damage dealing character. Just because another class took attacker rank doesn't mean mages are weak. Heck, that attacker in 1st place might not even take attacker rank or even be alive without support from a mage. lvl 4 magic skills are also on the way and looks promising.

Mages are weak? I don't think so. Useful? Definitely. (and not just for farming)

 

Nono the deal is u spent 2 fucking years inside the game and still have gears that any mage that has played for a week could have. Yet you're here bitching about how mages are the weakest class. I dont get the point of this thread. As for the tfl ai would if I could, but do u see a tfl season 5? No u dont, if there was one, i would join. Point is, u cant complain if u havent put in the work to your own build. Everyone put effort into their own build and I dont see as much effort given from u. Everyone started with 0 and you just didnt make the most out of ur time. Again 2 yrs and 220 hours only? Thats less than an hour a day and yet you expect to be worth something? I started with 0 but then put effort into my gears. Most of them I had to craft myself which took hours. It really is fun telling a 220 hr person into the game after 2 yrs that he's a pro when he's bitching about being weak when he's barely scratched the surface of the game after 2 years.

 

i agree that mages are useful and with respect yes being dps shows in rank. for ex. im a mage dps build but rank as 3-4 barely breaker barely/mostly tank.would you say am i really a dps? my gears and build are purely dps but barely outrank the others whos dps build like me and coz im also giving them proration,am i dps? by feel?by self-praising? or what? how would i know that im a dps not basing the rank and numbers?
i see all the tier 3 skill doin 100k per hit but not on impact and storm(no event)

im not a pro like mayam and Xlllguy btw,just incase someone will ask me whats my record

 

Hmmm... If im correct new mage skill 16mp = 30times more power then magic wall.. If can do 5k magic wall 5k x 30 = 150k dmg..

 

New combo will be.. Impact > 16mp skill smith> ender con = 10mp per cast

Everyone seems to forget about HoT (Heal over Time), aka Bless. It's much more powerful in the hands of a Staff user, especially one with very high MATK. Most of the time, players who use it rarely has a need for Revitas or Energy Bottles, which are very popular items for survivability. I even forget they exist sometimes! Plus, if you have Mini Heal, Recovery, and if you're a "Shield Mage", Protection, Aegis, and Perfect Defense...

 

if the casting bothers you, then you really shouldn't play with magic
magicians don't spam cheap skills like a gattling gun.
they step into the scene elegantly, showing off their awesome costumes, striking a cool pose,
blabber some weird poems and finally obliterate everything with a bombastic giga explosion.
then they faint from exhaustion, but that doesn't matter because the battle will be over.

 

Nah, more powerful mages stay conscious, then they use restoration and charging spells to do it again...

Now I don't mage dps but I greatly agree with what is stated here
Plus mages are appreciated for proration(sausage fest of physicals) and the elementals are such a boon
