Mage Shield Build

Im sorta new to Toram (by my standards) and I was wondering if someone could help me out. Im a mage currently level 46 with Mage Skill, Survival, and Priest skills. I am not certain about what gear I should get, but im looking for a build with a shield (to boost Gloria's effects). Whether i have to farm it for days it does not matter I am just looking for advice.

For stat, as always just full int, it will help add mdef a lot and with gloria it will be triplet.
Hp boost skill will help a lot too, your mage will survive even when you are in a party with a not proper tank.

 

Any suggestions on equipment?

 

Best armor or weapon are from player made, if you want higher damage, request matk%, if you want higher mdef, request int%. second stat add int number and last stat add -agro.

special gear is magic talisman II, give 4 int n 300 mp.

additional gear is crystal earring (300mp) or circlet (1%matk, mp regen, and mdef)

shield, depend on what you want, if you need high guard rate, ex. golem shield has 32% guard rate but only 3% guard power. the balance shield is ooze shield.

for staff, if u can't afford more than 5%matk or 5%int, better you use ooze staff, coz it has many more atk than water staff.
