Making 1h shield tank ^~^

hello, i am the BlueChickChick, don’t really post a lot of the forums but ill make it short and simple

I wanna make a 1h shield tank with lots of hp and generates a lot of aggro but I dunno what build I should go with ;w; pls help

 

knight skills are for aggro generation and get a bonus from shields, a must-have
the shield skill Guardian has a similar function

heavy armor is less effective on shield users than non-shield users, because the shield overwrites the armor's guard power.
if you have a shield, you don't necessaryly need heavy armor.
keeping it in the normal form will give you more aspd.
the defense bonus of heavy armor can be substituted with the passive shield skills.

 

Main stats: Dex + Vit (at least 100)
Skill trees: Sword, Shield (Guardian and guard reflect), Survival, Support (Sanctuary Only, optional), Knight

I am aware about the dex/vit but any builds that I could closely follow?

 

Stats : vit, mtl, dex according to ur preference.. 1hs + shield, get guardian + all knight skills, max the ones below with provoke, rage sword and binding strike, top one get lv10 pdef. Some other must-have skills : Sanctuary lv10, astute (is useful for motion speed), aegis and guardian. Rest up to u

Hmm I see, I was told that sanctuary isn’t a must have, but i would like to follow a build as I’m not the type to make it my own as I will mess up, u do have a build I could follow? I want a build that would allow me to have lots of health

 

Go full vit then rest mtl, u just need toy hammer, npc arm (brigan and..the other I forgot to tank), jiangshi hat/the one with magic resist and dark fighter bangle. Just make ur own build with those skills, and sanctuary is good as it gives damage reduction ^^. Most of ur sp would be used.
