I'd probably make a Meikyou combo just so Meikyou is always on. Like, Reflex/Perfect Defense>Meikyou(save)>Finale(smite) so auto attacks and interrupts always crit.

 

When skill fail to cast is consider "No Skill cast" ? Same happen when get fear ailment ?

 

You mean the Finale(smite)? Yes it won't get casted so no extra aggro generated.

Yes, the buff will remain.

 

As long as another skill hasn't been cast yet meikyo will remain

Btw how do you feel about using gsw? Not stacking it 3x lol but like once or twice for faster attacks
I can't imagine a knucks getting whacked around often with its high flee and with the armor stats of cd7cd16crit+16 -aggro10 you probably won't get aggro easily compared to other dpsers like 2H or halb

 

I use GSW on my shield knuck build

a few things to note, you absolutely cannot have long combo.

must have high ampr, hp and mp.

must put at least 1 to pdef. i have 10 because it heals a considerable amount of hp for me.

even then i use it selectively depending on the boss. but having constant swift tag is ultra nice.

 

So how are these compared to element statted knucks?

 

even with - aggro gear, you finish and spam combos faster than anyone else generating a lot of aggro without a tank with guardian (combo, prorate, combo, prorate, take a cup of coffee, combo, oh look! finale from a party member finally casted) . flee is also unreliable as there are a lot of things that cannot be dodged.

only complaints are megiston champ is expensive af and i still cannot reach 100 crit rate. hoping for crit rate ava stat.

 

Most phys dps use warcry in their combo don't they?
With fighters cloth that's -25% aggro
Idk it doesn't seem like they'd draw as much aggro as other users

 

its the sheer amount of combos that you can perform at a time that steals the aggro if the tank doesnt use guardian (youre not even spamming and prorate after a combo) its ok for a short boss run as it will be done by the time you steal it but expect to steal aggro after a while on long runs. can even steal aggro from finale and cf spammers with gsw buff.
