Meikyo + Strike Stab .... Is it worth it ?

And here I am thinking that I was the only one thinking of using Strike Stab with Meik and Astute. lol.
Meik is 40, Astute is 25. 14 each from wep and armor so 28. bexis + proto = 13, 10 from Party Glasses, 5 from pendulun. = 121 crit. EVEN without factoring Base Crit of 25. would thay equate to 100% SS damage even with the penalty? correct me if Im wrong. annd.. hi to @TheXIIIthGuy and @Lynxia. btw, i was able to make 100 stability and crit. without astute or SS.

I was planning to use Phantom Slash 10 for 100% Freeze to further increase Strike Stab damage. How.much bonus does it gain for every debuff on an enemy?

 

Just one ailment , if u have more than that , the damage wont stack unfortunately , but Meikyo Strike Stab on DW is kinda... Unessecary , Shadowstep has Better Crt boost (+50 For lvl10 right ? Correct me if Im wrong)

 

its +200% which the penalty of Strike Stab decreases.. reason why I didnt mention. Thats what I gathered when I was reading here. Also, everyone should k ow that Meik decreases Def too. but doesnt really.matter.since you dispel it quickly anyways.

Hm..so if it only increase its damage by 1 debuffs. Then PSlash 10 is nicely used as a Save tag.

By using double smite.. What will you use as a Save Tag? something like.. Astute - WC save - Impact7 cons - PSlash Smite - meik cons - SS smite-. filler?

Shadow Step Cons would be a nice filler to alleviate AMPR problem. but for Halb? Dunno what you can use though. Dive Impact?

I used this combo in my DW Stab (Halberd now tho )
2combos
1. Astute>Rampage Save>Spinning Swift>Impact Cons>Phantom Slash Smite>Shadow Stap Cons>Strike Stab Smite>Cons Closer
2. During Rampage Buff is Active , Spinning Slash>Flash Blast Save>Shadow Step Swift

Also for Halb I just use either Warcry lvl1 (2mp combo if Dive Impact is added) , Sneak Attack lvl1 (lvl10 For No aggro build)

 

@CeasarioX The thing about Rampage is it would take much needed SP. So.. yeah.. Id get Shukuchi and prorate with normal attacks anyways to compensate for the MP cost.

Lol. Yes, Im trying to make my own too. So.. Im jumping from class to class and look for probable builds. PSlash just doesnt cut it out for me. even DWs attack animation is starting to annoy me. Maybe I just need more ASPD. haha.

 

did u know that shadow step only gives +200% of ur base crt rate?
strike stab penalty is -200% base crt.. shadow step only remove the penalty
while meikyo has 40 crt rate(flat)
even if u have -200% base crt as penalty flat crts wont be affectev by strike stab penalty (100 flat crt = 100% crt)
25 from astute
40 from meikyo = 65+30(weap and armor)+party glasses=100 flat crt

 

Yes, Im aware of it. Thats why I removed it from the equation.. Since using that only negates the bonus but the flat crits wont be affected from yhe discussions ive read.before. on this thread itself.

And its needless to use Both SStep and Meik since they'd get.removed.if one of the 2 gets used.after one of the two.

 

use shadow ste for ampr or 2 skills to crt u only need meikyo on strike stab

 

Yes, thats why I gave the combo. its 3 smite combo too that would use SS for AMPR. or u can switch it so that it would boost Twin Slash to 100% crit rate. Then use Trigger cons as your ender..lol

 

3ple smite? yet it will ruin the proration..

i prefer using spin as a filler instead of quick aura for better proration

 

Oh yeah, about that, Spinning is Magic? Game says its physical which makes it annoying if its really.magic. As for the proration, yeah, it does. So you can use Magic Jav cons too if u like.

 

Its still physical its just magic proration changer. Its one of the very few skills that get stronger the more it is spammed.

 

So if I keep on using it. it gets stronger? similar to Sonic Blade of Blade Skills?
