Need help for Mage guide for Level 70?

Hi guys! I'm new to the game and leveled up my mage to 70. Unfortunately I messed up with my skills and skill point allocations. I tried making a new one, and is on level 45 now. Note: (I've used up my Reset Skill already)

Main Question: Should I continue the new one?

Can someone show me a good build for Lvl70? I've been seeing some guides but I don't know how to start actually because I believe that the one they made is for 90 cap. I can't do decent damage I guess. Can someone explain me good combos including the combo effects? Thanks.

Should I continue with this build? Or create and continue the new one? Please help! Thank you!

Even if a guide says "Lvl 90 cap" that doesn't mean you shouldn't follow it. They will mention some key skills that you should get and as you level up more, you will be able to get the skills that you need later on. Guides such as Precaria's mage and sniper builds will allow you to choose what route you would want to go on, as well as what skills you may want to level up. You don't have to know everything in order to follow a build. I may be wrong though.

I wasn't following it as exactly as they had on their account. You know exactly I'm new so typically we ask people what's wrong and what works best for us. Even if there's a guide, testing it also matters if it works well for us newbies.
I was just asking if you can recommend the skill details I've shown above or should I just make a new one and improve it.

 

I was referring to when you said that you believe that the builds they make are for level 90... And I didn't say "follow exactly." You can follow it to the point that you are able to. There are some people who ask questions about their builds as well. You can see the questions they ask and there is a high chance that it's answered. Your questions may have already been asked in the builds too.

I'd say, choose a build you think seem interesting or appeals to you, learn the key skills, and work your way up while also giving it a touch of your own.

And yes, I do recommend Precaria's build but it is "level 90 cap".

 

Hi Im also new and I almost did the same build you did, you can continue and max Storm and put Impact to Lvl 7. Use those dagger skills as combo opener and closer.

hi before, haha lol, its ok, ur build mage is wrong, thats the importancy of read build guide. if u want dps mage, u already wrong and u must restart, if u ask continue or restart. i give example, no need dagger skill (lol many secondary weapon more useful, read mugami about secondary weapon), no need hp boost dan save rest (mage fight in long range, except u gonna be mage tanker), mage need max recharge because u not use ampr right, and the last and biggest mistake is u are max level wall (commonly its for farming not dpsing), need max storm and impact. ok for short, u must rebuilt because so many sp u use wasted with no use.

 

My suggestion:

If you're having fun, continue with your build as it is . You need to get one char to lvl 70 in order to get lvl 3 skills, that will open a new window for you and allow you to restart with another char with more advantages.

I have experienced like u do..
But early my char is snip..
I will suggest u to read as much as information and playstyle.

After that pick 1 u will go (not exactly copy), u can combine or remake build, u can ask the owner of build about his build, or the other..

Last time i ask about bro @Precaria build "Why he got impact lv 7? Whats different impact lv 1, 7 and 10"

I use 2 oblivion book to make my main char just now..
Dont be afraid experimenting if u got extra book of oblivion..
Who knows, if u can make best build that used by most people like bro @Precaria ultimate sniper build.. XD
