Need Updated Info on BS

    So I've read a several guides on bs, some of them over 2 years old and it's incredibly hard for to figure out if it is outdated information.

    The latest guide I can find on bs is about the 130 level cap one so I'm not even sure if all this info is outdated or not.

    It'd be helpful if I had some experienced players help me figure out which of these information is wrong or outdated.

    1. Luk focused bs has a higher chance of making slotted items, 255 luk=25% chance of making 2 slot items (This one seems pretty obvious to even me but still)

    2. Bow gains 1 pot for every 20 points in dex and 10 points in str while bowgun gains 1 pot every 10 dex and 20 str (I'm a newbie to this game, hardly a week old and I'm sure the game mentioned that the primary stat for bow is dex, not str, so shouldn't bow gain 1 pot for every 10 dex and 20 str rather than the vise versa?)

    This is really important for me to know cause depending on the answer I need to decide whether or not I should add stat points on str or tec after maxing dex.

    Also, since I was recommended to add stats on str, I also need to know, what's the success rate of actually making a gear if I have extremely low tech?.

    Without much tech, is it possible to successfully create equipments by merely
    Continously levelling up my proficiency by LOTS of crafting?.

    3. Tech increases success and difficulty, dex increases diff and success, 2 tech=1 difficulty, 1 proficiency=1 difficulty, 6 dex= 1 difficulty

    Prof does not influence success rate, dex doesn't directly increase success rate but apparently higher difficulty you are compared to the item you make, more the success rate (Unsure) so indirectly it might.

    4. Does processing materials help for creation bs or technique/customization refining bs? How? Does it increase prof by any chance?.

    5. For refining bs, should I go for full tech or full luk, cause I was told luk decreases the degradation even if it can't be prevented. Is this information confirmed and accurate?.

    That's it for now, will ask more questions as they pop up. I'm extremely sorry for barging in with so many questions and pestering people to answer but I could use a little help.

    1. That's an outdated myth. Luck has no effect on slot chance
    2. Bow gains 1 potential for every 20 points in Str or Dex and Bowgun gains potential for every 10 points in Dex but nothing from Str. Yes, by crafting the item a lot you will eventually start getting successful crafts even with little to no Tech.
    3. Difficulty Level and Tech both increase success rate so all 3 Dex, Tech an Proficiency affect crafting success rate just Tech does so directly while the other 2 do it indirectly.
    4. No processing does nothing for proficiency it just increases material points so you can craft more items and is needed for customization bs.
    5. Yes the Luck information is confirmed and accurate. You should make 2 separate refine bs one full tech and one full luck to refine to S, use full tech for 0-B and full Luck for B-S. If you're fine with just having C or B refine than only make a full tech bs.

    I have a question, I'm a lvl 39 bs with all points on dex, 0 on str and I made a bow with 21 pot

    How is that possible under the conditions you posted?

    All gear has a base potential then you get extra from the stats so what you get from Dex is just bonus potential added on to the base ^^

    Ah okay, thanks a lot! This has been very helpful

    1 last thing please, I heard it's possible to use a pure tech bs as an alchemist as well

    If I'm making a pure tech bs, will I have enough skill points to max both skill trees? (I won't be creating any equipment with a customization/refining bs so leave out that particular branch)

    If yes, is it possible for me to add any new abilities to my equipments using synthesis equipment skill or is it useful only for dying? (Idc about appearances, I'm only even thinking of getting the alchemist skills cause I believe equipment synthesis might help add abilities)
