Newbie: Drop rate up skill

Is this worth it for a mage?

Also i'm only level 35, i've maxed the javelin spell, the wall, arrows, mp charge, and the magic mastery
Should I be investing somewhere specific next?

 

Depends on what you want to use the character for. It's more of a skill for a "farming build", rather than a main character for you. If this is your main character, and it's Mage, I suggest using the HP and MP boosts in the survival tree (same tree as drop rate skill). But I don't have enough info to say whether it's good for the build you plan for or not.

 

I'll be using the character as my main, been working my way through the story and some of the side quests for exp and money. I was told to take dex to 30, and everything else in INT. Hopefully that was right.

 

all magic classes use INT and DEX
you can't go wrong with that.

drop up and exp up are actually good for every character (sooner or later) but since they only add convenience, you should save them for later and get the skills with survival potential first.

I have level 10 arrows, 10 javelin, 7 wave, 5 lance, 3 blast, 10 mastery, 10 charge and 3 chain.

Should I respec?
