Pet skill fusion?

    When I was looking at cruithne's pet guide, I noticed that she lved the pet's skills up to 10 before transferring them, can inherited skills not be trained?
    (Also, is mp absorb good?)

    No, inherited skills can't be trained, so max first (if you can!) before fusion.
    Also, MP absorb is only good if you do not plan to fill your pet with mp directly yourself. I would prefer HP absorb as it keeps itself alive (but annoyingly it doesn't attack when you yourself are killed...)

    Hp absorb or hp boost? I'm thinking my inherited skills should be magic...(lance? The 800mp one) and hp boost, also i don't plan on mp healing my pet
