You can't uncrease Pet's crit rate, so it's better to have high accuracy with dex (a strong miss attack is not an attack)
Plus Dex gives 1h higher stability

Question, which pet actually gives highest mp recovery? i realize my pet really need a long time to cast magic lance.....
Other than timid and gentle? coz timid and gentle obviously have high mpr ecovery :/

 

i guess skill boost...
and the MP Boost and MP Drain skills

 

Oh... coz some nature seems to give high mp regeneration (as timid and gentle). Actually some nature got another special ability eg :
Agile : +50% movement speed
Sturdy : seems to have high guard rate / resistence idk, they take damage lower than my gentle pet with around same hp and def

 

Skill Boost either has more MaxMP or reduced mp cost for skills, since they use skills much more often.
(but stat potential is low)

i can confirm that Agile moves very fast.
my first experimental pet was an agile Frosch and it dashed like Boss Roga.

1 of my lvl 60 pet still can't do long range auto attack.... why....?

 

Ask : is it true that a mob who can't attack long range, won't have long range attack as pet? (like pecora)
and moxiz have a super long, long range attack?

How can a pet learn long range attack?

 

I'm not sure maybe its related to the weapon and nature.
My Cocoa(staff) has an option in skills to set to use long range magic hits but I can select it(maybe because his nature is proactive)
Again I'm not sure

 

it depends on the species
the pet appearance does not only define the looks, but also the element and attack options.
a mob that doesn't have a ranged attack can't use long ranged magic auto-attacks as a pet.

an example:
Raffies have 1 weak magic attack, 2 physical attacks and 1 special attack.
so my pet Raffy has only 1 weak option for ranged auto-attack, but 2 for melee attack.
skills have 2 options. (the power of each option also depends on the animation)

the Sakura Kijimu has many different attacks,
so as my pet it has many options for all attack types and skills.

weapon, type and nature is irrelevant.
that's why the info site states that some pets are better with certain weapons than others
