It's just more about bombardment. It's about bombarding constantly and consistently.
Other classes can do insane amounts of damage in very little time (Halberd, Sword-Fu), but none can do it like DW due to their insane AMPR, giving them constant presence during the whole fight (unlike the other 2 mentioned). That's where DW excels at and sets them apart.
Also, this gives me some inspiration to rebuild mine, but I'll stay true to my concept and try to make it work.

 

Do it for yourself before even saying anything offensive. You don't know anything about what's happening.

The goal was to be funny, not offensive. Guess it didn't come across that way.

 

Depends, but dw phantom slash can reach a higher 5k per tick stage if you bypass the boss guard blocks, it can reach more and you see ppl with 6-10 k per ticks. Mind you they are critical hits. I was lvl 50 before and manage to each 5k per ticks. Sword fu is strong! and no way you can beat that with your dw so dont expect it.

 

I redo my blade skill finally adjusted to take WAR CRY.. I made it 10.. Im not sure if its the right thing or the differences between levels.. I made a run in a party with Candela.. After the buff..and prorate i hit it with a 12k ticks... I end up having the breaker and i didnt expect getting support..
Then the lead mage kick me for stealing support..

 

Do you guys think Sword tempest is better than Phantom Slash? Being practical...since its Tempest is AOE does it make better? And the spiral air now increase CD..

No, sword fu and snipers are strong only because the people who weild them have the necessary skills, suited for those builds.
I'm not really suited for a sword fu, so I'd probably mess up everytime. If you put up me with a sword fu against cypherian or szchev with a dw, I'd lose. Every single time

 

Party Prorate helps sniper and sword fu.. To maximize their damage.. But the best thing bout DW it can survive solo and with just 2mp combo or less and a high ampr..i survive Candela mint solo.. But took me time.. I just recently appreciated the Phantom slash because of taking Shadow step and War Cry.. SS is very helpful when solo.. Avoid and catch up with ampr makes SS valuable at 10.

 

Surviving candala is nothing. Survivng black knight is something. Or even better shining gentleman is better xD

 

It's a skill that take awhile for animation .
