Reducing CSPD actually kills your DPS potential. Cast Speed is everything to a Mage. The faster you cast skills, the higher your DPS will be.
But, as Eggy said, we have too many sources of CSPD now. Nurethoth's -150 CSPD doesn't really hurt now that much than when the crysta is released. Try to put Granny crysta in your Philosopher Ring and you'll see.

 

Whoever on their right mind wouldn't pick scrader over ooze. End.

I'm aware but figured as you said with how things have been updated gear wise in game now that you could compensate for the initial CSPD reduction making Nurethoth better than Ooze however overall it depends on your overall gear setup for which is better to use ^.^

One thing I know, Mage is not meant for Burst damage, they are DPS classes. They are useful in extended fights, which builds like Ultimate Sinpers have trouble dealing with.

First of all, if you're going to disagree on something... at least do it in a civil and respective manner instead of going off on each other. Either that, or take it to PM and settle it there.

I don't care who was the aggressor in this situation, but provoking the user forward instead of reporting the problem silently is only going to result in this sort of situation.

Lastly, the term; "autistic/autism," shouldn't be used in such a manner. Why? There are users on this forum that can take offense to that, since it is directed to a certain group of people. (As a side note, I am diagnosed with mild autism, but luckily, I don't take offense to it. It still doesn't mean that it should be used in such a manner however.)
