Pure Martial Brawler - Anyone?

Good day people,

Just wondering and asking for your ideas since I am a total newbie. I am currently playing the Brawler class and I am a bit confused if my character is messed up already and I would need to create a new one. Here's my current build.

Stats
Full Agi - Level 71
Crit - Starting to fill

Skills
Martial
All Passives - LVL 10 - 40 points total
Bash - 10
Smash 10
Earth Bind - 5
Triple Kick - 10

Survival Skills
HP Regen - 5
HP up - 10

Wondering if I made something wrong. Should I go for Godspeed? Does it make a lot of difference?? Is there a cap for Attack Speed?
Basically Im seeking for additional help and guidance so I can restart as early as now if needed. Thank you for your inputs in advance and hope you can help me out.

 

I would go for more str instead of crit if you're going to start changing stats, since triple kick almost always crits anyway, and crit stat just increases crit rate.

 

Well.. I'll say.. Brawler is not an attacker class, it's a tank, breaker, and disturber class..

Your build pretty much fine for new player..
But I suggest you use shield and shield skill..
For example Shield Bash...
And use combo : Smash -> Sonic Wave (consec) -> Shield Bash (consec) -> Tkick( Consec)

You son't really need tkick, earthbind, or bash~

Or u can build my dart version

 

Thank you so much Cella, I actually read both of your builds, and made me think that I might be doing something wrong already. I'll try to go hunting for a decent shield. I am now thinking if I should continue this brawler or create a new one lol.

 

Well... If it's already high level u can use ur oblivion book and create new one i guess?

Maybe for newbie player I suggest mage, it's easy to use you can farm and leveling fast with it too ^^

 

You don't need Godspeed. Since Godspeed boosts up your Agi you wouldn't need it. If your a brawler you would want to focus more on Agi and having / over 1000 agi is fine because anything over 1000 doesn't make a difference for Attack speed. Idk the cap for Attack speed :/ .

Your build seems pretty fine for a new player though. I'm impressed that you didn't spread out your stats.

 

Yeah most newer players seem to end up throwing stats all over the place and ending up with a really weak character ._.
Like dude you don't need every single stat in the game

for a shield i suggest you get mirror shield it givs u 5% evasion =D

 

It's +10% evasion

 

AGI Brawlers aren't really made for attacking. You also might want to keep strong chase attack passive at 1 or 5. Get at least lvl 1 shell break for a 1mp combo.

Sonic wave(or shield bash) >shell break(save) >tkick(smite) >smash (cons)

 

Tripke kick has a crit rate of 75% (25% base + 50% bonus with knuckles), but take Rex's advise, do NOT add STR. Your normal attacks / breaking skills may miss a lot end game when you face bosses with higher dodge. There is no point to have power when your hits don't land.

A brawler's ideal stat is AGI > DEX > (VIT or INT).

AGI + DEX will give you the highest base attack, and the necessary hit for hits to land. The third stat depends whether you want to go tank route or monk route. There is no actual 'paths' in game, but VIT will allow you to take on knight / shield tree to become a breaker-tank. While INT will let you explore the Priest tree and become a 'Fighter-priest = Monk'. Priest tree is geared toward staff / knuckle users, so it is one of the variations that brawler's are intended for.

I build brawler 3 times.. And yes, brawler need to get 150+ dex first or else all the attack will just idiotly miss...
Till someone said about Drills.... I think Drills pure vit agi is the answer of all brawlers weaknesses and functioning as breaker tank ^^"

 

Am I already low on skill points after maxing all of my passives? This is my main concern

 

Read through the forums I guess its 1100 cap for AS based on the data mining team. My main concern is that after maxing out my passives, I might be lacking skill points to make my character more efficient

 

The passive S are great. As long as you can have a combo for breaking, it'll do for now. Can't have everything at lvl 70-ish.
