Question about class

Hi! Im new in this game and im trying to decide what class to choose.
I dont know if i want to be a healer or a tank and a want to hear your opinion of each class, pros and cons, if there is a lot of tanks or maybe a lot of healers, and everything you can tell me about each class.

Healers: Always overlooked because no one really needs them with a decent tank
Tanks: Good for higher level runs but a proper tank does little to no damage

My recommendation: THS, the original physical DPS. I just like big swords smacking across my fa- my enemy's flesh.

 

Like how they usually say that a good defense is offense, and it seems that you want to support the party, then a good support would be a dps. Go either 2h or halberd. ^_^

 

You could do both, skills like Mini Heal heal more if you have high HP

 

Healers are underused for good reasons (Revita).
You could make a Tank/Support hybrid but that will require you to party up with other people (you will do pitiful damage).

For classes, make at least 1 mage for farming purposes and choose another class for bosses.

 

It would probably be a good idea to get at least 1 support skill. You could use it to claim the support rank incase you can't take any others, and no one it taking support (usually people don't).

 

There are not a ton of tanks or supports in game sadly. While I can agree with these guys dps is important so are these kind of builds. All have something their good at, so please guys stop saying they're useless and not needed. Even as a tank I can say I prefer having a full support in pt over using 3 dps and potions. potions are no where near what support skills can give in game.

Healer from what you are asking is more of a full support build. It would be more then just healing. They have a very different playstyle then all the other builds. You focus not on just healing hp but putting up buffs which increase performance overall for the whole party. All the while you have to be good at dodging attacks and not get hit often. When you do some of the buffs called auras can disappear. It's important that you build up mp for this build but also hp and defense as you need to be able take attacks while being debuffed by your own skills. While there aren't many this build makes nightmare and ultimate modes a lot easier for the overall party. For this you will rely on party members to kill boss and for a tank to keep the boss off you.

For tank it depends what kind you want to be. The common one right now is to go full vit. But with this you will have no attack. You will rely on your party members to attack while you keep the boss off of them. Another is to make a semi tank. While these can do some damage they will have less hp.

Both of these kind of builds can't solo, but it's great for a party and especially longer battles. If you need more help or questions feel free to message me. I'll be glad to help. Be what you like. You don't have to do what everyone else is.

 

I start play a tanker and funny when the boss hit u and u shield guard it and counter from guard but DMG is suck when u normal atk I think I kill boss colon around 1.30min in difficult ultimate if don't have counter from guard I think 3 mins but when fight powerful boss such boss event it very very fun coz u can stand in front of boss and say "common boy kill me if u can"

 

Could also try a hybrid offense/defense build

Won't be as good as normal dps or a proper tank, but it can be somewhat more useful overall than either on their own
