Question about farming.

How long does it usually take for a boss crysta to drop without using any drop boosters?

 

It depends on ur luck, and not your luck stat. Some takes weeks some took months. If your lucky maybe a few runs.
I based it on my experience.
Mochelo xtal got on 9th run, a tortuga xtal that took me 10 months to get and 2 ms xtal in a span of 3 months. Just keep at it and youll get it eventually(one way or the other, you may have farmed enuf crap out of your target to buy yourself one)

 

How many runs do you usually have to do?

 

On tortuga i used it as a punching bag to level my cp every time i make/remake a new char (which is very often specially if im working on a new class or a new build). On mochelo i got it while doing a promo quest by asobimo back in the day. On ms i was just power leveling my pet since ms got tons of exp for an easy kill, so i kill it very often since i grew tired of farming nc and starting to smell like a cadaver in that tomb. I would say its refreshing change of game play, i still go to the tomb to farm med mats not to farm nc.

 

I got yelb at first run no break. Then helped a newbie with his mq and got another xta.
thats why leveling by boss is better than nc.haha
Got ifrid in 6-10 runs when I was farming a vulcan shield. Got a iconos in 15-25 runs when testing my first elemental staff. Got rogas in 50-100 runs. Got td in 20-40runs. Farming ecb for a total of 2-3mos got nothing. Maybe week when I got scrader when I was farming for brigan mats. I forgot other xtas.XD
