Question about hit accuracy.

Hi noob halberd question, but ive noticed I miss hits and skills quite a bit using a halberd going full STR and wondering how do the builds ive seen in videos hit consistently without points in DEX?

 

Don't add any dex they barely make any change in hit/miss (trust me I've tried it) . Use additional gear that add accuracy instead. I use one wing headband that give +30 accuracy and rarely miss unless the boss/monster have high Eva.

 

Hit is a unefficient stat in this game go for critical rate as critical hits "yellow numbers" can never miss.
Use add gear like gothic hat and c131313 weapon/arm. Also max skills crit UP and critical halberd
