[Question] Utilizing damage drop off for mage

    Oh and guys, have you noticed this update? Does this mean, say...using knife skill without using knife in sub to cancel smite mp cost isn't possible anymore? o_O

    Id use shield bash after storm, maybe impact,storm shieldbash(consec) u get tumble then storm then stun, but stun has a cooldown of 15secs i think

    Ah, Got it! Just like when using holy fist. And should i max the skill level for higher chance to stun? Cause i dont have many SP left.
    Man..I shouldn't have learned mp boost before, if i knew that i'm going to play a fast and short combo :(
    Oh well, nothing we can do about it xD

    Im not sure if lvling shieldbash reduces the stun cooldown but it always stuns for me after around 15secs, i also noticed if u crit with shieldbash stun doesnt proc

    Is that with a maxed shield bash?
    At least now i know that this skill is going to be useful. I'm going to rebuild my skills when i have the budget for resetting (already used my book of oblivion :()

    I left mine at lvl 1 for mage

    the stun chance of shield bash increases with level.
    at lv10 it always works on weaker monsters and has very high chances on stronger monsters.
    on bosses it's different. apparently they have some hidden resistances.
    it always works if it is the first skill to hit, but if the boss was flinched or tumbled shortly before, the chances get lower.

    i am not completely sure, but i read somewhere that the difference between HIT and FLEE also affects the success of status ailments a little.
    Forestia for example has a high dodge stat and getting her stunned is more difficult.
    Eerie Crystal never avoided my shield bash.
    Decel was similar to Forestia, but the Minotaur and the Golem were easy targets.

    Now that me (and everyone else) got the book of oblivion, i'll save some points untill i decided on wether to max the skill or not.
    So excited to rebuild my char now xD thanks for all the help
