Questions about pet's properties

1/ Do pets have crit dmg and crit rate? :v:v:v and if yes so a bowgun pet will have a 25% penalty of crit rate and pets which are added STR stat will have more cdmg?
2/ When I fuse the pet, does the inherited skills are able to train or it will be the same before I fuse? (if that case I should max skill level b4 fuse :v)
3/ If I use book does it affect on pets? also gems in Boss battle?

P/s: why this class not many players play? and on the forum it is not disscussed much? .
Pet is fun and strong :v and you also don't need spina for equipments :3 :3 :3 => for somehow this is the best class to solo I guess :v

 

It takes time to raise that one strong pet, plus getting the pets skills you want takes time too

 

1 pets do not do crit. But since they can have insane stats for damage. It is pretty powerful on its own.
2 inherited skills cannot be leveled up once the fusion is done. So it is imperative to max out that one single skill that will be passed on to your next fusions. Leveling up that one skill takes ages.(max i got is level 7, 2 months more of grind for that to cap i think)
3 No it got its own system of exp and it's bumming my brains out.

You are right, best class for solo. Sadly most players want to swag it out their big shiny new op spears. And most parties shunned the player with a leeching pet.
But still, i enjoy the gasp of my guildies when they see my full tec refiner/alc/stater solo grind ecb with just pet support skills.

Thank you for reply :3. Btw I am confusing about aggro of pets. I once use a VIT pet using skill Rage Attack but it won't get the aggro meanwhile a STR pet using Heavy Blow attract the boss. So is it because of the skill or the amount of dmg deal to boss? since VIT pet of course deal not much dmg :v

Well I read the Pet Guild on Coryn and actually we can farm boss to lv 90 in 3.5 hours (according to the video) (http://coryn.club/petguide.php). Also pet's skills increase by mobs it defeat (touched and you kill is enough) so you can try kill many Raffy(s) lv 1 at Rakau Plains or well build a ASPD character and farm with the pet (I like Shadow Build of Pras Glen ). This can also help you farm high level mobs since I think Storm can't kill high level mobs instantly :v

 

Aggro of pets is iffy at start and only gets better when its level 5 or higher. I have pets that have to cast 2 skills before it gains more aggro than my merc(it is always a good thing to have an extra tanker to keep you and your pet alive on the grind.) All pet skill level is random at the start, if you are lucky the best you get is level 5. Of course grinding at low level gets more of a hell in capping them. While it is well known that if you got the pet skill at level 5, capping them is a breeze.

Getting those coveted corner skills is frustating at best but that does not mean that your pet is totally useless. Just cap you pet and fuse it to your main pet.
