Questions

1. Is it worth to get impact to level 10?
2. What are some good -aggro% equips? I dont have a dia staff. With mp please lol
3. What skills should I get after finale, maximize and sneak?
4. Shouldn't sneak>impact>finale only generate 400 aggro from sneak? Or does finale always generate 300 aggro?
5. What's the strength of each sub: Shield, Dagger, and arrow? Or should I take md for style points?

 

What equips do you recommend? I'm using staff i7%m7%i10, armor i7%m7%, necromancer hood(which hurts lol), and magicians ring for mp. Yeah crap equips lol

 

1. Normally no, but its tumble rate is 90% at level 10 with a staff, though you could just save that for later.

2. Just use sneak attack for aggro reduction. The anniv VII staff has really nice stats, so you could consider getting either a player-crafted or NPC version.

3. MATK UP and Increased Energy are nice for extra MATK. Bless + Enhance Bless are really nice for staff mages because you can cut down on healing item costs.

4. It should always generate 300 aggro, but I'm sure it's more because of sneak attack (idk how much aggro sneak attack generates, lol).

5. You should probably equip either a shield, arrow, or dagger regardless of wether or not you are going to use any of their skills because of their stat bonuses. The arrow would give you access to moeba shot, paralysis shot, smoke dust, and arm break; all of which are great for combos. A shield would give you access to shield bash for stunning, P. Defense for blocking attacks and healing, and some extra defensive buffs and passives. A dagger would let you use throwing knife (costs 0mp at lvl 10) which you can use to prorate (don't spam it while you're in a party, people don't like that), spike dart for inflicting slow, and poison dagger for inflicting poison.

 

- Use sneak attack(lv10) first then impact-finale(up to 10 times) rather than 'sneak-impact-finale' combo everytime.
-use int7%matk7%aggro-10% armor, its a little more expensive, yes.
- get some 'forgot-its-name' potion that gives -15%aggro.
- you can push your aggro even lower with a ring with -25%aggro, losing 2%Int on weapon(im7i14) can also result you with extra -10%aggro(...+13INT compares to -35%aggro)

Does maximizer generate 300aggro?

Edit : the last part about -10%aggro on weapon seems wrong, my bad.

 

I second the sneak first thing, also the -15% consumable is fighter's red loincloth and the -25% ring is Dark Knight amulet.
Addgear Jewelry tiara is one thing I use. It has +5 int +450 mp, +15% something resist, and -21% aggro reduc, cmiiw
here's my mage's not so good setup; im7 arm + roga, zahhak shield, potum staff + york/dia staff + york, jewelry tiara, dark knight amu

I think it is, cause I get 3 bosses aggro after casting maximizer in this anniversary event.

 

New question: Is bloom of peace worth farming? Does it completely negate aggro from finale? Just for solo play with mercs.

 

Bloom of peace will hide all the aggro when you land the damge of finale on the mob after casting but the aggro while casting animation cant be reduced.
