    Rn i use rampage for a little bit o dmg + proration when i team up with a bg snipe friend... I maintain aggro and she gets higher snipes compared to me spamming a lot of skills...
    I dont really finish the 10hits of rampage... Its just for proration,ampr and aggro..

    Heres how i use it with a semi-tank 2h

    Hard hit>tempest(save)>smash(cons)>astute(Smite)>trigger(cons)

    Rampage to full mp and back to start

    Rampage is best used on a dw due to their double ampr benefits, i havnt checked with dw on the ampr for rampage but with everything else its 2.5ampr per lvl. On 1h or 2h, this isnt actually worth it for the amount of mp used, even with impact ender or trigger active too, if u have impact ender and manual activate trigger, ud need to have atleast 15ampr (from base and mp ampr) to regain the total of 500 that was used, now if u have 1.5k mp with no other ampr through gears ud regain 600mp but is that 100mp even worth it? The fight may be finished by the 3slashes and the mp used couldve been spent on combos, with impact ender and no manual trigger with 1.5k mp and no other ampr ud regain 200mp more than what u used, but even then i dnt think its worth it since it may not even be finished, and why would u auto instead of combos. U also need 1.1k aspd to make it instant attacks. Rampage is a part of the blade tree, imo they should move it over to the dw tree since its no longer meant for 1h/2h

    They removed he never miss property of spira air this update, it can only be landed with hit rate now

    IMO Rampage is a no no to DW.
    Why?
    -N.Atk animation is doubled (means prone to deadly attacks)
    -DPS is low.

    Rampage is best for 2h IMO. IF only Combos can trigger it not just by doing N.Atks.

    It's not functional for the class where the skill is located. You'd think 1h sword/ shield users would be able to balance out their attack options with defense support .

    If they took away the ability of enemies to remove the buff with any negative effects , then it would work fine. But as a tank you're always getting slowed, poisoned, dizzy etc. It was easy to work around interrupts. Now it's just retarded.

    Especially for those with a longer combo. We get aggro all the time and will get debuffed during the combo, like, A L L T H E D A M N T I M E. It sucks man ;-;

    Thought I was the only one who disliked the new Rampage more than the old 1. Its like a trick question...
    ☆You gain high ampr but whats the point? You just used 500mp
    ☆Its a buff skill so you can move but now it can be interrupted even easier than before?Dont most of the bosses coming out now do unavoidable or difficult to avoid aoes that inflict ailments?
    ☆It's a buff so its perfect in combo...Yeah about that...Cant put it in a combo anymore...#Oops

    Nice run but I still dont see it being worth the mp cost and panning out vs a less predictable/stable boss. Can you maybe do a comparison vid. You vs td 1 with rampage 1 without?

    I'm ampr built so spoiling myself on the Rampage buff doesnt really affect me.
    and one of my main DPS skill is Spin slash which can be either 2mp or 1mp depending on how i use it.
    Depending on the boss to if im gonna use Rampage or even when I'll use rampage.
    Given Aranaea and Roga, 2 bosses i have tried it out on, that have mobs that inflich ailments, i've successfully did test runs where i finished Rampage.

    and every boss is predictable if you know how the boss moves. it's a matter of how you play, not how you will deal the damage.

    the only difference it'd make for what I do is:
    With Rampage
    More auto attack damage
    More AMPR
    High Probability of doing around 40k more damage when i Complete Rampage

    Without Rampage:
    I'd have slower auto attacks
    Less ampr

    Those are factors to consider but in terms of incorporating rampage as a must-have . I cant see it. Successfully completing rampage seems more like an "I dare you to try" than a "watch this epic finisher" ya know? And not saying its useless or unusable but just should be more to it for that 500mp. At the very least it should have combo functionality and/or not be so easy to lose its buff

    it's still the same mechanic
    Old Rampage:
    Can't move, vulnerable, comboable.
    cant use combos inbetween.
    New Rampage
    Not Comboable, Can Move, vulnerable.
    Can use combos inbetween.

    it's a matter of how you use it.
    old Swifted rampage finishes as fast as new rampage.
    Damage isnt the same for the last three hits.
    but its made up with the mechanic of ampr so you can regen back mp.
    lets you prorate faster too.

    As an auto attack reliant player. this is a boon for me.

    When they rebalanced rampage I wish they didn't try to go so overboard. The answer why prepatch rampage sucked was because it left u ridiculously vulnerable. Imo a simple fix would have been bonus resistance while channeling and make the skill uninterruptible. There done that's a skill I would work with. You would still probably take a ton of damage while channeling and fractionals would still hurt a lot but it'd be viable. Now everything stops rampage. In what world can a rampaging warrior with a 2h sword and max strength be knocked out of berserk mode by some syrup like tf!?!
