[Ranting] Discrimination against support

So I tried leveling my full support char, she's lvl 131. Went to salamander and ems. Both got accepted as usual, and not even one-third of the way fighting the boss, got scolded for doing "nothing". Got kicked and dumped.

What I did was: debuff miniboss, cast aura, and recovery.
Maybe I was wrong for bringing fs to miniboss fight. Should've take her to Ultimate or something.

But then how am I suppose to level her? Nc and boss? This is gonna be a slow ride.

 

Sadly that's not an option since I've experimenting on my main char and used up all the free reset. Then I guess she will need to hibernate a while.

 

My support char was actually designed as a pet 'trainer' then a full party support was added after 80ish for more utility. I had always had access to tier 4 skills before even making it but only added finale at around level 100 its 109 now. (Its on the sidelines as I rush dex and vit smiths before anniversary) If you have access to tier 4 skills finale is handy to have for leveling. Once 2 party raids become a thing supports who can dps will be in high demand. My build is going full 255 INT rest goes to VIT. Good luck

I just started playing after 6 months of hiatus.... XD

 

There are other eays to lvl but takes longer i have a lvl 170+ priest that will be semi sup semi dps in end game its hard but can be done w/o boss mini boss follow lvl ranges under each map in world map its not much but is the least i can do to help with ur situation

 

Makes sense to do that i will do tht with my priest but after caping int dex was told dex helps with priests

 

If u need a hand lmk i can help u lvl up some even help u with mqs if u want i cleared mq going on 8 times now

 

Support on this game is not necessary the same as healers as potions do the trick.

at least necromancers would make a nice addition to the game unlike magic skills

We're actually starting to need pure support characters now on Guild raid bosses, when 4 parties fight the guild raid boss lots of players usually die on the higher levels and the guild needs a dedicated pure support to revive all those players, and since the guild raids usually take 3 mins thats enough time for support buffs to actually be useful, those healing buffs can even be used to keep a party going even beyond the 3 minute mark when hp automatically starts dropping during guild raid.

 

I just imagined it only useful on bosses with minions. ^_^

 

Tbh i dont have a problem with my support character, my guildmate always ask me to use my support character XD
Its actually quite usefull for high mobility boss/mini boss.
I think for pure support u should ask ur guildmate for party (lv up together/ask them to powerlevel u).
For low lv boss u should just use bodyguard atker and ur other char/pet as tank. As u are a support, ur auras skill would be usefull for atker bodyguard. Of course u can use heal on tank bodyguard as they cant heal themself.
