Shishui's Pet Summoner Build (Lvl 135 Cap)

Mostly it depends on the owner. I built mine as a tank dps hybrid(hence the meh damage and 5k hp, definately need a capped hp absorb on the next fusion) or a dps buddy.or a solid tank(aggro is a main problem tho) or a full support heal machine. It depends on your preference. I got hyped and jumped into the mochelo band wagon and ended up distracted since it is not performing in the way i like it.

 

I think your stone pet needs a magic weapon. I have similar pet stats (and cap level) but my planet head has staff weapon, and its matk is around 1k higher, which is quite a lot!

I would suggest Staff/knux, with Bloom of peace weapon (-100% aggro).
0mp Combo (started remotely): Lvl 1 bless -> Lvl 8 pet mp charge (save) -> Lvl 10 sonic wave (swift) -> Lvl 1 Chakra (swift)
If you are in a party with others, they will appreciate the free mp regen too!

Indeed, my pet have the wrong weapon in hand. But apparently i havent been lucky yet to land hp absorb on a fodder(preferably a genius stray for stat balance) knucks would be perfect for my stone pet since i like my stone well away from my avatar. Hope i can land another flash blast on the next fusion.

 

If the player is using knuckle as their subweapon, would that affect the pet's status?
I'm planning to make a hybrid pet summoner build using bowgun and knuckle (I want to make it hybrid breaker too), what do you guys think?

 

Pet MP charge skill would take far too long without bow or staff weapon. Staff fu would be a better option if you want to be able to break too

 

I see, thanks for the answer! I thought that bowguns are considered bows too, but after I looked at the skill description, turns out that it's limited to just bows...
As for staff fu, would equipping knuckle as the subweapon affect the pet skills etc negatively?

 

Not really, sub knux would only decrease ur matk by 15%... which wouldnt matter to a staff fu anyway. Note smash lvl 6 is 100% flinch. Sonic wave lvl 10 is 100% tumble. Bash lvl 6 (0 agi stat) is 75% stun. Bash lvl 6 (250 agi stat) is 100% stun. As a staff fu, your (substat) agi probably wont get high enough for 100% stun until lvl cap 190~ish. Hmm staff fu with full str is strong too tho... staff gains about 2 atk per 1 str

 

Correction, i think it's 4atk per str

”It is +3 per STR1, +1 per INT1.
※ Formula for calculating basic value: Lv + STR × 3 + INT + weapon ATK”

 

Since I've already had a staff user, I decided to make my tamer use bow ^^

so... full dex? hmm well, I still suggest if you are going for bow-ish user, try for bg-md for higher mp charge from magic skill tree... (takes really long without md or staff x.x and bow cannot sub md.. only arrow and katana..)

 

Sorry, this is bad idea for pet trainer/beastmaster. The pet hp/mp skills are extremely slow unless you have bow or staff. Bowgun doesn't count

Staff-fu guys loves a full range dps pet or a full support pets. (Apparently the dude just bought stargems and did not burn any sp on the tamer tree)

 

Raging blow vs Magic lance, how often does ur raging blow crit, and which does more dmg noncrit raging blow or magic lance? Assuming both pets have +500 in their respective main stats
