Sincerely need help for a build.

Hi guys, i am really new to the game and what the title says, yes i am in need of you guys help. I've heard that hybrid is a way to go to advance in the game so thats why im here. What im really looking is a build to basically become a one man army. I dont really like to become a weak and too much of a depending character in the game.

 

It sounds like you've been reading or listening about super old posts or something lol. Yes indeed staff fu or gunfu is strong back then BUT then the halberd and katana nation steamrolled everyone (they got 'debuffed' at lv4 skills tho, 'fair and balanced' lol)

Current strongest is bowtana. But since u cannot use crossfire after getting hit so better use pure katana tenryu then.

2nd strongest is gunfu. Same thing cant use crossfire when soloing/one man army.

3rd strongest (probably) is staff fu. Utilizing maximizer and spam 5mp chariots. Problem is chariot is f***ing weak, thats why hybrids are dead as of now.

Lastly is 1h fu. Problem is if using meteor as dps better off using 2h instead. Double smite chariot+meteor? High mp and dangerous to die, or just use 2h buster+meteor probably still gives more damage.


If u still wanna be 1 man army dps, best bet is probably 2h or katana (halberd has terrible ampr and grazes).

Or if dps isnt a priority, 1h+shield is good for survival, go check out D.song's Dephene at yt for the performance.

Tl:dr chariot isnt like triple kick for dps. Its weak and slow, better use other skills/class for dps.

 

Well, nowadays soloing things is almost unrealistic (but not impossible) plus most of the time you will be partying with others anyways. But, what I will say is that great hybrids are staff fu, 1h fu, bowtana, arrow mage, and arrow halberd. These work great for soloing (if you can build them right).

First, I wouldnt say there is a strongest class, due to how you can make many classes amazing. You do not need crossfire in Bowtana either, I use bowtana for a while and I can say there is so much you can do with it, deviating from the norm into something that is your own can actually make you a lot better for the game than youd thing. Dont think so DPS heavy.

 

If u want to become strong and make others depend on you, make 2h with full str, some vit, then dex. Katana need a bit refined playstyle to use and hard to hold aggro (when you said not weak, i take it as you can tank and dps at the same time, even when your party got wiped out).
2h on the other hand will just rush to boss and use the invincible meteor breaker. You can give proration with rampage berserk too. Its the best class in balance in all aspect imo.

 

Do remember no matter how strong you are as hybrid/dps, no one is tougher than p def user.

 

The OP is new, so probably things like pdef and all lvl 4 DPS skills are a quite far away.

I would recommend 1h sword+knux (aka swordfu). Really useful skills, that are quickly accessible are Astute, Trigger Slash (blade tree), Smash, Bash, Sonic wave (martial tree). There's so much utility in these 5 skills that they'll stay useful, even after you level up and unlock the more advanced skills later on.

• Between Lvl 70 and Lvl 150, Triple Kick (martial tree) is an amazing dps skill when you can't afford full critical gear yet, because it has a big innate crit bonus
• For combos, I would suggest short combos (all with con tag). Like Astute -> Smash (con) -> Trigger Slash(con). Its quick and will allow you to be mobile enough to avoid boss AOE skills.

even if you have an allrounder build, there will be bosses where you can't do much. in order to not become a burden to your party, you must use something that you are content with.
create your builds based on what you like to have, not on what others claim to be "best".
if you copy a build because it's "the best" but you don't feel like playing that way or don't know how to use it, your performance will be bad.

 

Bowtana is current strongest hybrid because he made this thread on the hybrid section, so suggesting other classes would be off thread but whatever xdddddddd. Fact is that chariot is weak is true tho.

U wot m8, dps is everything in this game. Unless ur like me using p!ss as hell weak brawlers for huzzah 50% motion speedforce rushing b. Just play whatever is fun, i disliked my 70k dmg rush tho becuz big numbers are guilty pleasure xdddddd

If yes then i think its a good 1 man team character.
