It's been awhile, but yeah seems like the arrows are calling me. My 1st high DPS build that was known as IMPACT SNIPER but later on renamed by Precaria as ULTIMATE SNIPER has been outdated for a very long time. I'm talking back the build of my former student and put it in a top notched level that only few will come to reach. You can call this PAY2WIN build because AMPR avatar stat has a huge role in this build but with or without avatar stat one thing is for sure ima teach you the real sniper way. Now let's have a quick look of the overall statistics of this build.​

FACTS & GAMEPLAY​

"Sniper" You see the problem is most snipers in game is also a freakin TANK. It's funny how they limit their full potential just because they will get aggro. With or without tank you should be a sniper no excuses. Other snipe do 1 snipe aggro will stick to them till I do 5-6 consecutive snipes, How? Later on ill explain how to do that with gameplay and gear set up.

Now I want to talk about 1MP COMBO that everyone loves, please dont hate me but the creation of 1MP combo in Sniper was a mistake!!!
WHY? It has high aggro unless you use sneak then you use sneak. But what happens when you use sneak? You get slow very slow, even you swift tag that sneak its still slow for me. Tell me you didnt die once for using 1mp combo while fighting a boss. How many times your 1mp combo got cancelled and waste your time? this build has no room for 1mp combo it's all about 4mp combo and proration.

HOW TO BE A GOOD DPS SNIPER?
There are factors of how you can be a good DPS SNIPER regardless of BOSS BATTLE DURATION or DIFFICULTY. Let me discuss them to you one by one. ​

1.) MAXIMUM MP - Never settle for 500MP~1000MP That's only like 2 4mp snipes and after that you'll slow down and start using 1mp long combo which is kinda risky for some boss. Remember MP is SPEED and POWER. 1800MP~2000MP is required for this build.

2.) ATK SPD & AMPR - Ok let's say you already got 2000MP and You're doing a NM ICONOS run for example, 2000MP wouldn't be enough to burst it till it's dead. After shooting you need to reload and you gotta reload fast. At this point ATK SPD & AMPR plays a big role to fill up your MP and do more damage until the boss fight ends. If you'll settle at 1mp combo chances are you might get killed and also you're not helping that much do party proration cause you cast that 1mp long combo most of the time, unless you dont aim for ATKR RANK you can just prorate with low ampr.

3.) CRIT RATE - Crit is somehow defined as "accuracy" becayse crit doesn't "MISS".
It goes like this:
NORMAL>MISS>CRIT>EVA>ANTICIPATE
So bassically you dont need accuracy at all if you have 100% crit , however you will still be evaded.

If you're a sniper you want that snipe to crit all the time cause imagine the MP and TIME that you'll waste if you snipe with white damage. 4mp burst snipe non crit equals 4mp wasted. 1mp long combo snipe non crit equals wasted time. as much as possible i require 100% crit for maximum potential.

4.) AGGRO - Aggro play a huge role in sniper build, how can you be sniper when the boss is in your face? this is not a MOBA game where you can kite and outplay the opponent. If you have aggro that means you need to buy time to reposition again to cast snipe. That means you'll be running around while waiting for perfect time to snipe. And by running around you already fail your role as a DPS and you wont unleash your full potential becuase you're being chased. If you a 1mp combo snipe user chances are if you force to snipe it will be cancelled or you might die. Aggro also plays a huge role in your survivability, in this build you'll only have an HP of 3500~4000. Is it good enough? Yes , as long as you can control the aggro of the boss and just be a good sniper. Watch boss movements, memorize attack patterns, know boss skill and what triggers it.

How to get low aggro?
GEARS - Dark Knight Amulet -25%aggro (Highly recommended)
SKILL - SNEAK LVL10 (REMOVES AGGRO OF NEXT 10 SKILLS/NORMAL ATK AFTER CAST)
GAMEPLAY - Down below there's a video guide of how you can utilize -25%aggro of DK AMULET to burst 4-5 SNIPES successfully. For long run I'll make a video soon of how you can use sneak to control your aggro.

CRIT STAT IS IMPORTANT!!!​

Let's talk about CRIT. Current CRT RATE is exactly 100% from STATS & GEARS as computed by @Alzarith . If you want to see the formula please message him ^.^ im not good at formulas and computation it just happened that i got 100% by my sniping experience.

Why CRT instead of STR you're a bow user?
adding more CRT on stats makes you more flexible on gears and still attain that 100%snipe. Also will still allow you to use BG

STAT COMPARISON​

92CRT vs 50CRT 42STR

92CRT can compensate the missing dmg if 42 STR by using DRAGON EARS as ADD and its even better CD dmg than 42STR. You want AMPR & MP use GRECIA HELM.

50CRIT 42STR this kind of stat will require you to go full CRT GEARS and still there is no assurance that you will get 100% CRT. You have low CRT bonus for CR% because you only have 50CRT.

CRT is important, you miss 1 CRT SNIPE you basically waste MP and TIME.

Aggro control, upon entering boss battle never release a skill 1st, let them build aggro from their 1st skill and this is where the advantage of DARK KNIGHT AMULET takes place with the inate aggro + their aggro skill will make them hard to release aggro and with your -25%aggro from DK AMULET it will allow you to snipe 4-5 times without getting aggro.

83 AMPR TEST

since i don't use 1mp combo i depend on my high ampr to regenerate 4mp+ to spam snipe again. while rgenerating like 1200mp to a maximum of 1800~1900 this will help me pause my aggro from building up and by the time i have the desired mp that i want to consume for sniping there will be no problem getting aggro because my teammates are already ahead of me in building up aggro. this technique doesnt just help you to spam snipe but to also prorate for your team while regenerating mp. Lastly high ampr allows me to manually cast sneak from time to time for further aggro control for long runs.

I can't say this is my best run my phone is really laggy when im recordin and as a result some of my snipe doesnt deal damage. But anyways here a sample vid of EX ARENA.
Gameplay is to prorate and busrt, aggro is not much of a problem so just help prorate so your party can deal good damage and when mp is ready snipe until mp is drain then prorate again. avoid using long combos specially on the 3rd boss he has a fast cast aoe that can deal 4-5k damage you can see in the video I almost die at 3rd boss. Also on the 3rd boss we noticed that dealing magic damage makes boss def go higher. If you have mage on party ask him/her to dont use magic at 3rd boss, ask to prorate.

TIPS & TRICK:
Always snipe consecutively up to 2 to do armor break combo 1st snipe breaks armor 2nd snipe penetrates armor.

snipe 2-4 times for 2 armor break combos and higher chance to activate whack.

if lucky enough to trigger that 10% whack increase damage. You'll get increasing snipe damage instead of decreasing. This will also help to stabilize your consective snipe damage as it has the chance to hold damage reduction as you spam.

Awesome, same build except the 92 crit. I cant see the point of 92 criti for bow unless you use a bowgun, the dex surely help those criti xD. Is it worth investing rain arrow? Cause i have too much spare.

But 92 crit dude, that's 52 base crit rate, which is insanely high, wow. +6 crit rate from 13% stats, +13 from bow flat, that's already 71 crit rate with just bow and stats...+19 from armor stats puts you at 90, crit up gives you 95, +4 from grecia mask...thats only 99
?_? If your ava stat +1% crate adds on, even tho it's only 0.52, then you'll be at exactly 100 crit rate

 

idk about calculation and stuff your thread really helped me a lot by gaugingy crit from time to time and i ended up with that to achieve 100% i know its a bit too much. ill probably reset stat soon and put like 10crt to my Str for additional dmg.

one question does my crit stat affect base crit rate?

 

Yes, crit stat of 92 gives you +27 to base crit rate, which adds to the normal base of 25, giving you the total of 52 base.

 

before i have 7713 bow cd7131313 arm
ghotic hat mauez and 92crit . and i still see white snipes and normal atks.

so i decided to go 7131313 bow and switch gothic to grecia.

i gained like 12more crit from switching and now i have 100%base on my observation.

sorry im not the formula guy. im more like the "what i experience guy"

 

7713 bow as in atk7/cdmg7/cdmg13? Because yeah you would lose 19 crit rate from that stat as compared to a7/cr13%/cr13/cdmg13, Gothic hat and Mauez is only +17, putting you at 98 crit rate instead of 100 :')

It's exactly 100 right now the way you have it set up. If you change anything it won't be at 100 any more.

Idr what mauez is but if its 2% ur at 100% crit if its 2 flat then ur at 101%

 

they just confirmed 101% maybe reduce it a lil. its up to you to invest in arrow rain Im just bored and since i have high ampr i cast it manually from time to time.

I'm afraid you are alone in that one. I'm a survival build. I depend on quickdraw 1mp and ampr from skills XD. I found out i can reach near 100k dmg with snipe using 4mp combo and a 1/3rd dmg from 1mp combo. Though i dont know if i wanna try those Quick Aura skills in the 1mp combo. my agro is so high XD

 

yeah its thats why its optional. sometime i start with a 2mp combo with q.aura to make 5 consecutive snipes if lucky with QD 6 snipes. 2mp 4mp 4mp 4mp 4mp.
