Luk mage is fine on boss/miniboss if its a guild/friends party. I wouldn't mind tanking for 3 luck mages if its guildie and i dont mind receiving xtal as a gift too after the farm

Couldn't agree more. I just leave or boot their ass on the spot. With 90% in game are dps, its kinda stupid tolerating the greediness of many objectively motivated kids.

 

Farmers should never go 255 Luck if they don't plan on being a Luck Refiner. You need to balance faster kills and bonus drop rate.

Elemental MDs doesn't even give that much more damage if you don't have int. But hey, at least it is now useful for the Magic Blade skill tree.

You know Asobimo messed up big time when playing fake magic blade is a lot more fun than a real magic blade(only uses the tree for the Resonance, Ether Flare AMPR, and Element Slash buffs).

Yeah thats why sometimes i prefer 3 bows/phy dps than inviting a mage coz luk mages on boss farms so trending it gave true pure dps mages the wrong reputation. Luk mages being a leech on boss farming for drops destroying the image of pure dps mages.

 

Bruhhh what’s so bad about luk mages? Who cares if u can 1 hit nm and boars anyways. More Drama=less mats don’t waste your time just join em.

My level 108 full Luck mage can also 1 hit plant machina if I use a staff + brave aura though.

Same, i was hoping that this was a thread to raise awareness so people would farm Frosti for MANA instead of cassy....

 

The argument is that luk mages have low damage, and they technically leech off of the higher dps mages. Joining them also doesnt make your drop rate higher hence the problem that they false advertise about getting a higher drop rate with them on the team.

 

I didn’t notice the title was “click-baity”. I just didn’t want a long title. “Raising awareness on farming spots that you have to be wary of luk mage’s false advertising.” doesn’t quite ring right.

 

After reading entire thread i was hoping to find a better and efficient farming place dang well LuK mages Rul3 idk about other but i have habit of capping all my charc even luk mage and my luk mage can pretty much one shot any mob (Benefits of spending in luk charc always worth it ). Except plant machina where i use dps mage i was hoping people start farming frosti so i can farm med wood and mana at the same time.
