actually fast mp charge is one of the competitive advantage as a staff fu.
if you think you can manage your mp with lv 1 mp charge(210 mp 4 sec). its okay.

my combo is not a 1 mp combo. but a spam of vary mp cost combo. thats why i maxed mp chg.
next reason is mp charge is required during long run battle. new bosses tend to have high hp pool.. so max mp charge gave u benefit in case you run out of mp.

@BlackRex any plan adding Lvl 10 quick aura for your build? I think its good too

 

hmm next 20sp i planned tonallocate those for quickdraw.. (still contemplating tho)

i will take a look at quick aura. from those information i got. quick aura gives aspd in the cost of %hp lost. i still dont see it improve this build's dps unless theres something i dont know regarding quick aura.. enlighten me ^^

 

Staff fu over swordfu . How can you differentiate them ?

 

there was a discussion somewhere in forum regarding this duelism hehe.
based on experience : staff fu outdps swordfu.
IF both use same refinement level weapon
i.e : staff +A against 1h +A

while for breaker n tank. staff fu wont win against 1h. their motion is badass.. thus give them more hit and more mp burn.

in term of style.. 1h lookes more awesome.. while staff fu is sluggish asf..
yet staff fu still offer useful disabler moves. and quick mp charge hehe. more mp = more damage ^^

in term of weapon supply. 1h blacksmith tends to supply more sword. stat service tend to supply STR stat sword more.
while staff... their stat supply is competing with Mage stat.. so staff fu development is halted here bec less weapon supplier for staff fu.

in term of future improvement.
i see both build has passed their maturity. however i still see potential of staff fu to utilize magic based skill. that will be happening in 20 or more sp..
for 1hfu. i cant see it beside use new halberd skill. which a whole diff playstyle than 1hfu.

We can also take in to consideration that all classes have moves yet to be released I foresee moves for 1h staff an 2h fu ext. I can see an evolution of the fu's in the future .

 

yup thats true. evolution will be there. everyone can be creative with their own build. as long as its effective.
yet i dont see it within current or next 2 cap bec of skill point constraints. i think 20 sp or more or skill lv4 might give significant boost to fu build.
or maybe you can share whats your thought for fu build.

 

I agree with you on that one Rex, tbh I think just leveling the fuu character.. continuing down the path of Int stats, all the while saving sp like you sed we will have a hard choice..I think quick draw would be the most valid n important thing to have next endless combo damage... or the latter as Int rises we will also have the option for Storm and chain cast skills.. what do you think , not as powerful as regular stormer cuz knocks but long range atk would help against bosses like event empress ^^

there are another style for staff fu as well..just like u mention staff fu - storm kicker to maximize prorate. or power waved staff fu which good for soloing miniboss. diff ppl might have their unique recipe for their staff fu

however my view on using storm are these:
if theres a magic thats insta cast +high damage, i will definitely use that as my dps skill. current insta matk based skills are impact and holy fist.

1 int stat only add 3 matk when you equip staff n knuckle. which means matk grow is decent for this current build. however its less likely to achieve 1k matk in cap 125 tho.
not to mention storm required to spend 20 sp.
last is idk how to put storm and kicking in between... maybe @Bago2 knows more for this build

Could be interesting .. I also like quick draws mp regen if we had more mp no sword fu would even stand a challenge unless they were really skilled players.. imo staff is life lol
